Sanjicheon Stream (산지천)

Running across from Dongmun Market in Jeju City, Sanjicheon Stream is home to a rich array of freshwater fish (e.g. sweetfish, gray mullets, Amur goby, and carps). In summer, it attracts hundreds of thousands of anglers as well as children.

The port, downstream from Sanjicheon Stream, is renowned for picturesque views of fishing boats, egrets, and seagulls. A restored Chinese sailing vessel is exhibited at the end of the stream for visitors. Along the stream are walking paths, a park, and music fountains, in which Sanjicheon Art Festival and a slew of cultural events and performances are held every summer and winter, attracting many visitors.

Arario Museum Tapdong Cinema was created by Kim Chang-il, a famous artwork collector in Korea, who reused an abandoned building to make a contemporary art museum. The building did not go through extreme renovation, allowing visitors enjoy the building's original features along with the artworks. The underground floor and four ground floors hold exhibits where visitors can take photographs (flash photography not allowed), and the fifth floor houses a souvenir shop and a cafe where visitors can relax and enjoy panoramic views of the old city center and Tap-dong.

Haejin Hoetjip is a restaurant located on the breakwater of the western pier at Jeju Port. Its signature dish is gumunjaengi (also known as neungseongeo or sea bass), a delicacy unique to Jeju. Located near Seogwipo-si on Jeju Island, Gogeunsan Mountain (altitude of 396 m, relative x_height of 171 m, a circumference of 4,324 m) is a parasitic cone volcano and an oreum with a shallow crater on the top. Although it is not high in elevation, its expansive presence offers outstanding views overlooking nearby areas including Marado Island and Jigwido Island.

Noeully is a dessert café located in Gueom-ri, Aewol-eup, Jeju-si. The entrance and interior are decorated like a bus stop and a glass greenhouse, respectively, allowing visitors to enjoy tropical plants and the ocean view. It consists of a rooftop café on the second floor and a sky garden on the third floor, as a no-kids zone except on the first floor. Chairs and tables face the sea for an open view of the Jeju sea and sunset, making this café a popular spot to visit for taking photos to post on social media. One of the charms of Noeully is that visitors can enjoy flowers here all year round, such as mustard flowers, hydrangeas, sunflowers, cosmos, and buckwheat flowers. The representative menu item is Briquette bread, a briquette-shaped glutinous rice bread filled with strawberry jam. In addition, the menu includes a variety of drinks, coffee, scones, and cookies.
