Located in Samyang-dong, Jeju-si, Bultapsa Temple is a branch of Gwaneumsa Temple, the headquarters of the 23rd district of the Jogye Order of Korean Buddhism. The temple is nestled at the foot of Wondangbong Peak (alt. 170.4 meters). The temple started out as the Buddhist shrine Wondangsa, one of three temples in Jeju during the Yuan dynasty. Most of the temple was damaged due to the Jeju Uprising on April 3, 1948 and it was rebuilt in 1953. Later, the temple underwent renovations and extension works to get to the current conditions. Today, the temple has Daeungjeon Hall, Yosachae monk quarters, Jonggak Bell Tower, and Cheonwangmun Gate. The temple's five-story stone pagoda is Jeju's only stone pagoda from the Goryeo dynasty. It was designated Treasure No. 1187 in November 1993.

Seobok Exhibition Hall is a museum dedicated to commemorating Seobok, who is said to have come to Jeju Island in search of the miraculous plant "Bulrocho" for the longevity of Emperor Qin of China. The exhibition hall displays various artifacts, including a statue of Seobok, a bronze carriage, replicas of terracotta soldiers and sculptures in Mausoleum of the First Qin Emperor. Jeongbangpokpo Falls, one of the three major waterfalls in Jeju-do, along with Cheonjiyeonpokpo Falls and Cheonjeyeonpokpo Falls, is located about 1.5 kilometers southeast of the center of Seogwipo.
The waterfall is the only coastal waterfall in Asia that falls directly into the sea, reaching 23 meters in x_height, 8 meters in x_width, and 5 meters in depth. When sunlight is reflected on the pouring water with the magnificent sound of a waterfall, a rainbow of seven colors harmonizes with the blue sea, creating a captivating atmosphere. On the high cliffs along the beach, old pine trees stand with branches hanging over the sea as if they were falling.

Gwakji Beach is a beach that has nice conditions including a 350-meter-long, 70-meter-wide white sand beach, an average water depth of 1.5 meters and a slope of about 5 to 8 degrees. Thanks to these conditions, a youth training facility was installed and groups of tourists visit here every year. Gwakji-ri is a historic village where shell mounds from prehistoric times were once excavated. According to a local legend, Gwakji Beach used to be a village in the ancient days, but one day, it became buried in the sand.
