Centrés sur 53 000 produits de beauté collectés par le Dr Yu Sank-Ok, l’un des administrateurs de Coreana Cosmetics, trois musées des cosmétiques ont été créés : un à Seocho-dong en 2001 (connu sous le nom de Deuxième Centre), un à Sinsa-dong en novembre 2003 (Space *C, le Centre Principal) et un à Cheonan en juin 2004 (Institut Songpa Tech, le Troisième Centre). Le Centre Principal, ouvert le 20 novembre 2003 au sein d’un centre culturel nommé Space *C, a attiré l’attention d’un large public. Le musée se trouve à côté du musée d’art Coreana qui expose de l’art moderne. Le complexe artistique et culturel Coreana contribue à l’éducation et à la recherche dans la culture des cosmétiques de la nation et présentant l’histoire des femmes en Corée, avec par exemple une exposition d’ustensiles de maquillage traditionnels. En 2006, pour commémorer le 120ème anniversaire des liens entre la France et la Corée, le musée a organisé au Centre Culturel Coréen de Paris une exposition spéciale nommée « Beauté semblable à la nature, culture des cosmétiques en Corée » qui a attiré beaucoup d’attention et de louanges.
