El Sendero Ecológico Costero del Monte Deokbongsan permite a los visitantes ver formaciones rocosas y paisajes costeros únicos en la zona de Samcheok. El sendero cuenta con dos recorridos: el recorrido A (317 m) sube a la cima del monte Deokbongsan, mientras que el recorrido B (626 m) es circular y se extiende a lo largo de la costa y la falda de la montaña. Cada recorrido ofrece sus propias vistas impresionantes, con áreas de descanso por todas partes. Como ambos recorridos no llegan a tener 1 km, es fácil recorrerlo en un paseo tranquilo frente al mar.

La Cueva del Murciélago Dorado Cheongok es una cueva de piedra caliza que extiende horizontalmente por casi 1.400 metros. Se estima que se formó hace 400 o 500 millones de años y es la única cueva natural situada en un centro urbano. La cueva incluye cráteres de techo, uno de los largos de Corea, junto con cortinas estalactitas, terrazas de travertino, cascadas estalactitas y muchas otras formaciones rocosas fantásticas, ofreciendo un excelente espectáculo a los turistas y una evidencia espeleológica a los investigadores. Dado que el interior de la cueva está lleno de más de 20 tipos de formaciones secundarias tales como estalactitas, estalagmitas y columnas de piedra caliza, la cueva es un recurso valioso para la educación de la ciencia.

Gulttukchon is famous for Daenamubap. It is steamed rice in bamboo stalk with 12 kinds of grains, cooked for 70 min. The bamboo sap makes Daenamubap good for the elimination of waste from the system. A large parking lot is available in front of the restaurant and inside is well-decorated with bamboo and yellow earth. Grilled duck is another delicious reason to visit this place and the dessert, pumpkin tea, is sweet. All employees wear Gaeryang Hanbok (Western style-Hanbok) and welcome the customers at the gate of the restaurant heartily.

Donganjae, a traditional Korean style house located near the beach in Donghae City of Gangwon-do, was opened in June 2018. The traditional Korean style house is equipped with modern facilities for convenience while still maintaining the elegant mood of a traditional house. The rooms are located in 5 traditional buildings. The foot bath in the garden gives the feel of a pool villa. Each of the 5 independent buildings (named Mureung, Duta, Chooam, Mukho, and Mangsang to accommodate 3-4 guests in each building) has an upper floor of which the three sides can be opened to command an unobstructed view. The outdoor foot bath in the center of the garden with pine trees relieves fatigue, and the soothing scent of pine trees completes the ambiance. It is possible to cook food in the room. Each room also has a bathroom equipped with bidet and a shower booth.
The recently constructed buildings are also handicapped-friendly. There is a parking space exclusive for these guests. There is also no raised spot at the gate and the threshold is made very low for easy entrance and exit. Various tools such as Tuho, Yut, Jegi, and top are ready for playing traditional games. You can likewise try wearing hanbok, Korean traditional clothes. The nearby tourist attractions include Cheongok Natural Cave, Chooam Chotdaebawi Rock, Mangsang Beach, Mukho Por,t and Mukho Lighthouse. There is a walking path behind the pension in the pine forest.

El valle Mureung tiene como paisaje de fondo los montes Dutasan y Cheongoksan, comprende las áreas desde el Estanque Hoamso, que según la leyenda, en este estanque cayó y murió un tigre, y llega hasta lo alto de la cascada Yongchu, una distancia de aproximadamente 4 km. Es un valle con un paisaje natural espléndido, con rocas y corrientes de agua que fluyen por entre las rocas. Entre los sectores destacables del valle están: la roca Mureung, que por su gran magnitud llegarían a sentarse en ella un centenar de personas, el templo Samhwasa, la cascada Haksodae, el valle Okryudong, la cuenca Seonnnyeotang, la cascada Ssangpok, la cascada Yongchu, etc., que en su conjunto ofrecen el mejor de los paisajes. En la antigüedad, el lugar recibía el nombre de “Mureungdowon” (nombre de un paraíso en chino), debido a su hermoso paisaje natural artístico, y hoy en día se pueden encontrar miles de poesías y nombres grabados en las rocas, pertenecientes a personas de épocas pasadas. Aún en la actualidad, es un destino turístico que recibe muchas visitas.
