El Museo de Suwon está formado por 3 museos, que son el Museo de Historia de Suwon, Museo de Caligrafía de Corea y el Museo de Saun Lee Jong-hak, que disponen de unos 33.000 artículos y reliquias tanto compradas como donadas. Ubicado en el barrio de Iui-dong, en el distrito Yeongtong-gu de Suwon, cubre una superficie total de 6.535 metros cuadrados, con dos plantas superiores y un subsuelo.

El Museo de Historia de Suwon, con una superficie de 489 metros cuadrados, muestra el antiguo aspecto del mercado callejero de Yeongtong en los años 60 del siglo pasado. Los niños especialmente pueden aprender sobre cómo era la vida por ese entonces. El Museo de Caligrafía es el primero de su tipo en Corea construido por un gobierno local.
