Hwangnyeongsan Mountain offers a lush green forest easily accessible from downtown Busan. The mountain is popular for hiking, as well as taking in the nightscape. The mountain stretches across Busanjin-gu, Nam-gu, and Suyeong-gu districts, and with an altitude of 427 meters, it is the second tallest mountain in the Geumnyeon Mountain Range. Despite this distinction, the summit can be reached after a two to three-hour hike. At the foot of the mountain, one can find a citizen's recreation area and a youth training center. Igidae Cliff is a geological park located along the southern coast of Busan. Formed by volcanic activity dating back 80 million years to the Cretaceous period, the accumulated lava, volcanic ash, and other rocks have been eroded by waves, creating cliffs, caves, and other formations. Along the coastal trail leading to Oryukdo, visitors can appreciate various geological and topographical landscapes, including copper mines and pothole.

UN Sculpture Park is located next to the UN Memorial Cemetery where the souls of UN soldiers who served in the Korean War rest in peace. The sculpture park exhibits 34 pieces of artworks created and donated by sculptors from 21 nations who provided support in the Korean War. These sculptures were created as a part of UN Memorial Park International Sculpture Symposium (September 15-30, 2000) that commemorated the 50th anniversary of the outbreak of the Korean War in honor of those who fought in the war. The UN Sculpture Park had its opening ceremony on October 24, 2001.

Songjeong Beach stretches for 1.2 kilometers with a x_width ranging from 30 to 60 meters. The white sandy beach is ideal for families with young children because of its shallow waters. The beach is very popular as a photography venue for pre-wedding photoshoots. The area around the beach offers many hoe (sliced raw fish) restaurants. Jukdo Park is located north of the beach at the entrance to Songjeonghang Port. The white and red lighthouses of the harbor are a popular photo spot, as well as the view of the beach from Songiljeong Pavilion at the peak of Jukdo Park. The path leads through a grove of evergreens. Fishermen often line the breakwaters to the lighthouses.
