Haengjusanseong Fortress History Park, located next to the Haengjusanseong Fortress near the Hangang River, is a site steeped in history. It played a significant role as a witness to the battles between Joseon and Japanese forces during the Japanese Invasions of Korea (1592-1598). The park includes several features such as the Hangang River Observatory, which has been repurposed from military posts, a fence photo zone, Baramgaebi Hill, and a vast lawn area. Additionally, as part of the Haengjusanseong Trail, the park is known for offering a spectacular view of the sunset, making it a picturesque spot for visitors.

Chuncheonok is a Korean restaurant located near Gocheok Skydome. The signature menu is memil makguksu (buckwheat noodles). Served with a sweet sauce, the bibim makguksu (spicy buckwheat noodles) features a refreshing broth poured generously over the noodles, preventing them from becoming soggy. With a lower buckwheat content, the noodles have a smooth texture. It pairs well with tender and odorless bossam (napa wraps with pork). The K Art Hall (Formerly, Seoul Center of Education and Culture) is located in Yangjae-dong, Seocho-gu district. The natural surroundings are beautiful, and the air is very clean. The center has one basement floor, and eleven floors above ground. Its main facilities include the main theater, which can provide for an audience of 1,000, the Culture Center, Art Exhibit, Education Promotion Center, and the Sports Center. Outside the building are the Grass Square, Sculpture Park and Drive-in Theater. The main theater can hold a variety of performances such as plays, dances, movies, operas, musicals, and others. There are frequently performances for children as well. At times, the theater is used as an international stage, as in the case of the Russian Leningrad Ballet company’s performance in 1991. The Culture Center has guest quarters and convention halls, and so is often used for conferences. The Sports Center has an indoor gymnasium, a swimming pool, health and aerobics rooms, a bowling alley, and a golf practice range. The facilities here are used primarily as a resting area. One unusual facility is the outdoor Drive-in Theater. Called “Karma 21,” the theater can accommodate a total of 250,000 cars. Each car is charged 15,000 won a ticket. Usually the latest releases are shown here. The theater is located in “Yangjae People’s Grove” Park, which boasts a very clean environment. It is the perfect spot to relax while enjoying a movie in the fresh air.

Songpa Naru Park, also commonly referred to as Seokchonhosu Lake, is a citizen park in Seoul with a jogging course and walking trails. It has two lakes with Songpa-daero Boulevard running in between. Originally, a branch of the Hangang River ran through the site, forming one large lake, but the lake was divided into two with the construction of Songpa-daero Boulevard. The total size of the two lakes is 217,850 ㎡, and they hold about 737 tons of water. The depth of the lakes is 4-5 meters.

Established on December 25, 1984, Seoul Nori Madang offers diverse traditional performances on an outdoor stage to promote Korean folk plays and culture. Performances are regularly held every weekend; it hosts over 120 performances every year and each performance attracts over 1,300 visitors. Within Seoul Nori Madang is Songpa Folk Preservation Association, which offers seminars on folk plays such as Songpa Sandae Nori and Songpa Baekjung Nori for students, free of charge.
