L’ancien nom de la région était Seungdumal dans la mesure où la forme du lieu ressemble à une selle pour cheval. La construction de cette estrade par dessus la mer a été finalisée le 12 septembre 2012, elle est désormais appelée “Marche sur le ciel”.
Les visiteurs sont toujours impressionnés par la vue des vagues en train de déferler sous leurs pieds à travers le sol en verre. L’endroit est aussi connu pour être un très bon site pour photos. Vous avez la possibilité de prendre le bateau et de parcourir les îles de la région à partir des quais de Oryukdo (compter 10 000wons par personne). Il existe également un centre de promotion de l’île Oryukdo ouvert de 9h à 18h.
Le site est classé comme lieu incontournable "korea route" de la région.

Wonjojipbul Gomjangeo Gijang Oegajip opened its doors in March, 1991, commercializing grilled eel over a straw fire. It became the inspiration for other grilled eel restaurants to be established in the neighborhood, building the "Grilled Eel Alley" in Gongsu Village. Other than its specialty, grilled eel over a straw fire, the restaurant also features yangnyeom gui (marinated grilled eel), sogeum gui (grilled salted eel), and maeuntang (spicy fish stew), which are available for take-out.
The restaurant was first aired on the TV show “The Nation Now” in 1994. It then began to build a reputation for its delicious menu and was on various food-related TV shows such as "TV Morning Wide," "Hometown Tasty Road," "I am Going to my Hometown," "Live Broadcasting Today," “Credible Lifestyle Tips," “Infinite Ground Q." “Video Jockey Special Forces” and “EBS Korea Travel- Gijang Region."
