Good Guesthouse is located 5 min by foot from Mokpo Station. A local sculptor who had been working in the area for more than 20 years renovated a three-story building into this guesthouse. Indeed, sculptures made by the owner can be found in the guesthouse. Even the beds in the guesthouse were built by the owner. There are five rooms in total, consisting of a 6-person family room, a heated floor ondol room, a double bedroom, and two twin bedrooms. The twin bedrooms have two super single beds and can accommodate up to 6 guests. The double bedroom has a queen-sized bed and a separate powder room. The ondol room is a double occupancy room with a maximum capacity of 6. The room has bedding sets for two, and additional bedding can be rented at an extra charge. The family room has three bunk beds, and can support up to 10 people. Each room has a bathroom attached to it. Shared spaces include the kitchen and the living room, which has a TV. Guests can either choose to park in the building, or use the free public parking lot next to the guesthouse. There is a vending machine selling instant rice, ramen, and rice noodles in the guesthouse. The complimentary breakfast service offers bread, housemade jam, coffee, and milk. The guesthouse also enjoys excellent accessibility to tourist sites, with Yudalsan Mountain and Mokpo Modern History Museum located only 10 min away by foot. Mokpo’s famous CLB Bakery (formerly, Colombang Bakery), the first stop in the Mokpo bakery tour, is also located near the guesthouse.

Le pic Nojeokbong se distingue par la présence d'une roche imposante sur sur le mont Yudalsan surplombant la ville de Mokpo. Ce sommet fut notamment utilisé lors de la guerre Imjin (1592-1598) par l'amiral Yi Sun-shin afin de remporter une bataille sans même combattre. En effet, des mannequins en paille avaient été construit et installés pour donner l'illusion d'une armée imposante, ce qui provoqua la fuite de l'armée d'invasion japonaise.

Il y a aussi un pavillon, le 19 avril la tour commémorative, un monument avec les paroles de la chanson «Mokpo de larmes», un temple bouddhiste, un parc de sculptures présentant quelque 100 pièces de sculpture, un parc d'orchidées et le Parc Dalseong avec beaucoup de choses à voir . Ces caractéristiques font de la montagne une destination incontournable pour ceux qui visitent la région Mokpo.

Deungdae Guesthouse in Mokpo is run by a village enterprise named Deungdae Co., Ltd. The guesthouse opened in May 2018 following the remodeling of a 35-year-old hospital building as part of an urban regeneration project for the entire area of Mokwon-dong, which is the old downtown of Mokpo. Deungdae, a Korean word meaning “lighthouse,” signifies lighting and guiding directions in the backward old downtown of Mokpoo like a lighthouse. The whole atmosphere of the interior is modern and clean. The rooms are furnished with only the essential facilities to make the area as wide as possible. The rooms are painted in pastel tone to create a stable, comfortable ambience. On the first floor of the building is “Small Morning,” a cafe and communal lounge run by Deungdae Guesthouse. On the third floor are 5 single bed rooms for solo travelers, 4 twin rooms with private bathrooms, a communal kitchen available for cooking, and a communal bathroom. In the communal bathroom, free use of washing machine, toiletries, dryer, magic dryer, and hair straightener are available. In the morning, Korean-style breakfast of soup and side dishes personally cooked by the host is served in the community room on the third floor. Noteworthy is the fact that a first-aid kit is made available in the red box installed on the wall on the third floor for easy use by anyone. The guesthouse displays the travel guide of Mokpo and leaflets. It is possible to get concierge service for the travel courses from the host. Located 200m away from Mokpo Station, the guesthouse offers easy access to important tourist attractions such as Nojeokbong Peak, Mt. Yudalsan, and Mokpo Modern History Museum, which are 5~15 minutes away on foot.

La gare de Mokpo est la porte d’entrée pour la partie Sud-Ouest de la Corée. C’est la gare située le plus au Sud-Ouest du pays, et le dernier arrêt de la ligne Honam, l’une des principales lignes ferroviaires desservant la province du Jeolla-do. La gare de Mokpo permet d’accéder facilement à de nombreux sites touristiques de la région, parmi lesquels l’archipel de Dadohae, Yeongam-gun, Haenam-gun, Muan-gun, Sinan-gun et Jindo-gun. C’est également une escale fréquente pour les voyageurs qui se rendent par bateau aux îles de Jejudo, Heulsando et Hongdo. Avec l’ouverture de la ligne à grande vitesse KTX (Korean Train eXpress) le 1er avril 2004, le bâtiment de la gare a été agrandi. Ce bâtiment de deux niveaux abrite un hall, une billetterie, des supérettes, une librairie, un centre d’informations touristiques et des distributeurs de billets de banque.
