La Granja Haneul, ubicada en las tierras altas de Daegwallyeong, es una granja ecológica en la que se crían más de 400 animales que incluyen vacas, ovejas y caballos. Los visitantes pueden hacer un recorrido a bordo de un tractor, completando un circuito en 45 min. La vista de la granja y el entorno se aprecia incluso más desde el observatorio de la plataforma elevada que hay dentro del predio. La granja también cuenta con senderos temáticos para caminar y actividades que incluyen paseos a caballo y alimentar a crías de animales.

La Granja Samyang se ubica en la meseta de césped más grande de Asia. Esta antigua y amplia pradera es donde se alimentan las vacas lecheras. El panorama de la meseta es también es digno de ser mencionado. En el observatorio Daegwallyeong se puede apreciar el espectacular amanecer del Mar del Este tras el monte Odaesan. El lago donde las vacas toman agua es el lago Samjeong. Para poder recorrer esta enorme hacienda sería necesario hacerlo en coche o en bicicleta. En coche, tomará aproximadamente 2 horas, mientras que en bicicleta, puede tardar de 5 a 6 horas. No se recomienda recorrerla toda a pie.

El Arboreto Solhyang fue construido en 2008 e inaugurado el 30 de octubre de 2013 en Gujeong-myeon, de la ciudad de Gangneung. El arboreto se estableció alrededor del pintoresco valle de Yongsogol y el monte Chilseongsan, que aún conserva el prestigioso bosque de pinos Geumgang. El arboreto se extiende sobre una superficie de 78,5 ha y está organizado en 25 temas que cuentan con un total de 220.000 ejemplares de 1.127 especies diferentes. Los visitantes pueden disfrutar de una amplia variedad de paisajes que cambian segun la estación, así como áreas temáticas como un sendero de bosque ecológico denso con una colonia de árboles y plantas de jengibre y bambúes, una plaza de bosque de pinos, jardines de flores silvestres y más. La principal atracción de este arboreto es el sendero llamado "Camino de sanación del aliento de los mil años".
