Gyodae Guesthouse is located near Seoul Nat’l Univ. of Education Station on Subway Lines 2 & 3. As a guesthouse in an apartment building, it's a popular choice for long-term stay among foreign students studying in Korea. The guesthouse is an ordinary home, so guests can feel at home during their stay. There are only two rooms, but the guesthouse owner treats her guests like family. For this reason, she has many repeat customers. Each of the rooms is furnished with a desk and a computer for student guests, and there are many plants in the living room. The kitchen, bathroom, living room, television, and sofa are shared among the guests. Laundry service is provided for free. Guests are asked not to stay out too late because the guesthouse is located in an apartment complex.

Sushi Kaisin is a luxurious sushi restaruant owned by Japanese Chef Kyousuke Sato. Chef Sato gained much knowledge about seafood through his working experience at fisheries market and two years of experience as a fisher. After building his career as a chef by working at top-notch sushi restaurants and five-star hotels in Japan, Chef Sato opened his very own sushi restaurant in Cheongdam-dong, Seoul in 2017. Fresh ingredients carefully selected and brought in from Jeju Island are prepared into an authentic Edomae sushi through Chef Sato's unique techniques. Although the restaurant is small, allowing up to only six customers at the counter table, Chef Sato ensures that the excellent food and service quality remain consistent as the chef personally tends to every aspect of the restaurant, from selection of ingredients and food preparation to customer service. Chef Sato is able to provide menu explanations and engage in friendly conversations with customers in fluent Japanese, Korean, and English due to his broad experience and expertise from traveling and working over the past years. “The Place Seoul” is located in a small alley in Gyedong-gil, Jongno-gu, Seoul. It is a guesthouse made by remodeling an 80-year-old traditional Korean house. The ondol room furnished with traditional beddings is popular not only among foreigners but also among Koreans due to its special ambience. The ceiling of the room dates back to 80 years ago. The rafter put on the roof at the time of construction of the house shows the antiqueness of the house. The toenmaru (a narrow wooden porch running along the outside of a room) that comes alive with the frequent coming and going of people adds to the ambience of the traditional Korean house, with the Sansuyu (corni) tree and vegetable garden beside the Korean-style house creating a leisurely atmosphere. Beyond being a mere place to sleep in, “The Place Seoul” aims to be a composite cultural space whose motto is “the place to fill.” A simple wedding or a small-scale performance is held in the garden during the day. The rooms can be rented for small meetings. “The Place Seoul” sponsors “WWOOF KOREA,” an NGO promoting environment-friendly agriculture as well as the right dietary life, “Slow Food Korea,” and “Slow Box.” As such, the place serves a special healthy breakfast consisting of homemade bread, handmade yogurt, and organic fruits and vegetables. In addition, the toilet paper, detergent, shampoo, etc. provided are all environment-friendly products. “The Place Seoul” is located on Gyedong-gil Road, a famous tourist attraction in Seoul. It offers easy access to Bukchon Hanok Village, which is on the other side of the Gyedong-gil alley, as well as other major tourist attractions within walking distance including Changdeokgung Palace, Gyeongbokgung Palace, Samcheong-dong, and Insa-dong. The convenient location of “The Place Seoul” makes it easy to tour downtown Seoul.

Parque Marronnier (마로니에공원)

El parque Marronnier tiene en su centro un árbol “marronnier” (castaño de Indias –Aesculus-) simbólico, y en el área se congregan toda clase de centros de eventos culturales al aire libre, exhibiciones de escultura y centros de arte. El área comenzó a desarrollarse en 1975, cuando la Universidad Nacional de Seúl fue trasladada aquí, y unos 50 teatros pequeños y 500 cafés concentrados en el área hicieron a este lugar un sitio de reunión y relajación enormemente querido por los jóvenes y ancianos por igual. El parque se vuelve especialmente concurrido los fines de semana, cuando las multitudes se congregan para compartir los eventos culturales. Los adivinos y los artistas callejeros también se hallan aquí y le dicen su fortuna o le dibujan retratos. Otra razón por la que se ha vuelto tan popular entre los jóvenes es la variedad de sitios interesantes y restaurantes que se pueden hallar aquí, facilitando lugares para reunirse antes o después de las obras teatrales o conciertos.
