Cada 1º de enero se celebra el Festival del Amanecer del Monte Inwangsan en un lugar más comúnmente conocido como “La colina del poeta Yun Dong-ju". El Parque Cheongun es un gran lugar para ver la salida o la puesta del sol en Seúl. La Biblioteca Literaria Cheongun se encuentra al pie del monte Inwangsan y se puede llegar a ella siguiendo el sendero de montaña que comienza en la puerta Changuimun y que va junto a la Muralla de Seúl.
