Busan Museum was founded on July 11, 1978 to collect, preserve, display, and research the cultural hertiage of Busan. The museum houses 45,000 artifacts, displaying just 1,300 through regular exhibition rooms. The museum underwent a remodeling project in 2002 along with the opening of Exhibition Hall 2 to expand to ten permanent exhibition rooms, as well as a planned exhibition space, heritage research room, experience hall, lecture hall, and more. The museum aims to provide more extensive research into uncovering historical artifacts, and provide educational programs to visitors.

Busan Cultural Center began construction in October 1983 and finished constructing three halls in 1993. In April 2010, the cultural center underwent renovations and reopend in October. The architecture format used traditional Korean houses with a large, medium, and small halls. Large gates and walls were removed to allow easy access. The roof used concrete slabs to recreate traditional patterns and the exterior walls are made of granite stone.

Established in 1986, the Busan Sports Complex features the main stadium, Sajik indoor swimming pool, an indoor gymnasium, Sajik Baseball Ground, and an athletes' training center. The main stadium was the venue for the 2002 Asian Games and several matches during the 2002 FIFA World Cup. The Busan Sports Complex regularly hosts international sporting and cultural events, while providing excellent facilities for personal as well as group training.

Busan Asiad Main Stadium, completed in 2001, was constructed to host the 2002 World Cup and the 2002 Busan Asian Games. Its design, closer to a circle than a straight line, offers both grandeur and comfort. It serves as the home stadium for the Busan IPark football club and hosts various events including track and field competitions and K-pop performances. Adjacent to it are a baseball stadium and an indoor gymnasium.

UN Sculpture Park is located next to the UN Memorial Cemetery where the souls of UN soldiers who served in the Korean War rest in peace. The sculpture park exhibits 34 pieces of artworks created and donated by sculptors from 21 nations who provided support in the Korean War. These sculptures were created as a part of UN Memorial Park International Sculpture Symposium (September 15-30, 2000) that commemorated the 50th anniversary of the outbreak of the Korean War in honor of those who fought in the war. The UN Sculpture Park had its opening ceremony on October 24, 2001.

DOMOHEON, the former residence of the Busan Mayor, was transformed into a cultural space and opened to the public in September 2024. The establishment includes a cultural space, shared office, café, lecture hall, meeting room, and various other convenience facilities. It also features a living garden, which is the first living garden in Busan. In the past, it was also referred to as the local Cheong Wa Dae creating an authoritative image. However, with the recent remodeling, it has now become a welcoming space for the public to relax and enjoy cultural activities.
