National Maritime Museum (국립해양박물관)

The National Maritime Museum is a comprehensive venue offering exhibitions on maritime culture, history, ocean life, science, and more. The exterior of the museum was designed to resemble a water droplet and is the third largest museum in Korea. The museum holds over 14,000 historic items and relics that have witnessed history and are relevant to the future of ocean life. These are on display in eight permanent exhibition halls, a special exhibition hall, and a children's exhibition hall. The museum also has a library, aquarium, grand auditorium, outdoor performance stage, and a 4D theatre for a multi-cultural experience.

Site of Dongnaeeupseong Walled Town (동래읍성지)

Site of Dongnaeeupseong Walled Town, built towards the end of the Goryeo dynasty and the early Joseon dynasty, was a significant fortress during the Imjin War in 1592. It served as the main battleground where civilians, officials, and soldiers united to resist the Japanese forces. Recognizing the strategic importance of the Dongnae area, a much larger fortress was constructed in 1731, replacing the original structure from one built during war. Today, only traces of the fortress remain, with the Bukmun Gate, Insaengmun Gate, Dongjangdae Command Post, Seojangdae Command Post, and Bukjangdae Command Post having been restored.

Huinnyeoul Culture Village (흰여울문화마을)

Huinnyeoul Cultural Village is a cultural community village. Huinnyeoul-gil, a representative original downtown area of Busan, was named for its meandering stream that resembles the appearance of white snowfall at the foot of Bongnaesan Mountain. Suyeongman Bay Yachting Center is located between Gwangalli and Haeundae beaches and was built in 1986 as an international scale stadium, used during the ‘86 Asian Games and the ‘88 Seoul Olympics. It is able to anchor 448 yachts, and it has the proper natural environment for yachting so as to be the venue of various domestic and international yacht competitions, becoming a popular site for lovers of yachting and ocean sports.

Amenities include training facilities for yachting as well as windsurfing and submarines, as well as a large parking lot and commemorative monuments.

Goeun Museum of Photography (고은사진미술관)

Established and run by the Goeun Foundation, the Goeun Museum of Photography and the Goeun Contemporary Photo Museum are located in Haeundae, Busan and are the first photography museums founded outside of the capital city of Seoul. The museums aim to offer more cultural opportunities to visitors by collecting real and valuable works representing both Korean and international artists. The venue also acts in the discovery and support of new and up-and-coming artists.

Goeun Museum of Photography has an exhibit room on the 2nd floor, as well as a seminar room and a photo library on the 1st floor. Goeun Contemporary Photo Museum has 3 different spaces for exhibitions, mainly concentrated on contemporary photo works.
