The 6-kilometer-long Jangyu Daecheonggyegok Valley is located at the foot of Bulmosan Mountain, where the water flowing into the valley divides into two principal streams. Lush trees and clean water make up the area’s beautiful natural landscape. A 30-minute hike along the valley will take hikers to Jangyuam Hermitage where they will find the stupa of Jangyuhwasang, who is said to have spread Buddhism for the first time in Korea.

Visitors flock to Jangyu Daecheonggyegok Valley not only to enjoy the scenery, but also to taste the delicious duck, chicken, and baeksuk (chicken soup with rice) dishes sold around the area. In 1984, the valley was integrated into Jangyupokpo Recreational Park where bridges were built and water supply facilities were placed at two locations. Sangjeolgyo Bridge at the entrance to the valley is 30 meters, while Bonpogyo Bridge is 4 meters. A 1,720 meter-long forest trail was also created. The rugged mountain terrain offers a challenging, yet highly interesting climb up the mountain.

Johyun Gallery started as "Gallery World" in 1990 at Gwangan-ri Art Town in Busan by Jo Hyun. After that, the gallery moved to in front of Haeundae Paradise Hotel in 1999 and then it was rebuilt on Dalmaji-gil Hill near Haeundae Beach in June 2007.

The gallery operates exhibition halls on the first and second floor of the building, as well as an art shop at Busan Museum of Art on the first floor. It also has a branch in Apgujeong-ro, Gangnam-gu, Seoul. This gallery focuses on expanding the world of art by working with international artists.

Dalmaji Road refers to the pass that connects Haeundae Beach with Songjeong Beach over Wausan Mountain. It is an 8 km-long coastal road lined with cherry and pine trees, offering a beautiful coast view and a perfect place for seaside drives. The summit of the pass has the Dalmaji Hill and the Haewoljeong Pavilion, which overlook the view of the Cheongsa Port and the sea. The road also has many cafés, restaurants, and galleries. Soksiwonhan Daegutang is a restaurant located on Haeundae’s Dalmajigogae Pass. It has been serving daegutang (codfish soup) only for many years. Daegutang (codfish soup) refers to a clear soup made with codfish in broth simmered with codfish bones and vegetables. It offers a delightful combination of clear and refreshing soup and plump codfish, so it is also a beloved dish for hangovers. There are many other restaurants with similar names offering daegutang (codfish soup), so look up the store’s location before you visit.
