Nakdonggang River is a winding river that is filled with great strength to protect the people, representing the wisdom and deep meaning for the country's reunification. Thanks to its geographical advantage, it provided a good distance of ceasefire line between Korean soldiers and their enemies during the Korean War, reducing casualties.

Opened on June 25, 1979, Nakdong Victory Memorial Hall was built in memory of the victory at the Nakdonggang defense line which was the last fortification to protect the country during the Korean War. The memorial hall was built with private donations from the residents of Daegu and Gyeongbuk province. In particular, postwar generations, especially the young generation people who did not experience the Korean War, can learn about the history from here.

Keimyung Art Center covers an area of 10,000 square meters with three above ground floors and two basement floors. It is equipped with 1,954 seats and cutting-edge stage facilities for hosting diverse genres of performance arts like operas, musicals, concerts, plays, and dance. Since its opening in October 2008, the center has been greatly contributing in facilitating communication with a broad audience and increasing cultural opportunities for Daegu citizens. Daegu Apsan Park, as its name suggests, is a mountain park located in front of Daegu. It is a natural park where visitors can take a cable car to the summit observation deck and enjoy a panoramic view of the cityscape below. The park features numerous valleys, springs, as well as landmarks such as the Nakdong River Victory Memorial Hall, Chunghontap tower, youth training center, archery range, riding facilities, children's playground, library, museum, and botanical garden.

Daegu Duryu Park was built near Duryusan and Geumbongsan mountains in 1977. The park encompasses the area of Duryusan Mountain including E-World all the way to Geumbongsan Mountain behind Daegu Culture and Arts Center. The name Duryusan came from the fact that the mountain is spread out in a circular form. The total size of the park is approximately 1.7 million ㎡ at a x_height of 135 meters above sea level. Various statues and memorials including 2ㆍ28 Memorial Tower that commemorates the high school students who started the 4ㆍ19 Revolution, as well as a statue of Yi Sang-hwa and more can be found along the Duryu Park circular road. After the opening on October 1977, the park added a soccer field, a baseball field and other recreational facilities as well as private libraries that provide convenience to the citizens.

E-World will hold the E-World Blossom Picnic on the stage of the 83 Tower and E-World where cherry blossoms are in full bloom.

E-World Cherry Blossom, which is the fastest cherry blossom in the country and where visitors can enjoy the largest nighttime cherry blossoms in Korea, has three times more cherry blossom trees than Yeouido Yunjung-ro. The entire area of 83 Tower, the landmark of Daegu, is colored with cherry blossoms, allowing visitors to feel the mood of spring. During the festival, hundreds of photo zones that cannot be seen anywhere in the country, such as a red double-decker bus, merry-go-round, and cherry blossom sky view from the observatory, are filled in the space, allowing you to take hundreds of life shots with every step you take.

In October 1987, E-World began construction on a tower and theme park, completed the master plan for the construction in 1993, and opened it in March 1995. It is a European-style city park decorated with waterfalls, fountains, lights, and flowers, with rides, exhibitions, art spaces, and restaurants that all ages can enjoy. There are theme plazas to provide novelty and enjoyment for visitors at E-World. Representative plazas include the entrance plaza near the ticket office, the central plaza located in Fantasy World, Children's Square with a playground for kids, and Youngtown Square for young people.
