Village 736 is a pension hotel located in Hongcheon-gun, Gangwon-do with six private guest buildings. With Geumhaksan Mountain in the back and the Hongcheongang River in the front, Village 736 boasts a great view with a glimpse of Soeppulbong Peak of Maebongsan Mountain over the Hongcheongang River. There is also an outdoor swimming pool at the center of the premises, which creates an open atmosphere. The private guest buildings are located around the outdoor swimming pool, and the accommodation has wooden decks that create an overall well-organized vibe. Apart from the family guest building, all guest buildings are three-story buildings with a unique design. Upon opening the front door, guests can see a kitchen where they can cook. The buildings have private outdoor decks where guests can relax in the sun by opening the folding door. The living room is on the second floor. Guests can also enjoy hot baths during their stay inside a Hinoki cypress bathtub by the window. Lastly, the bedroom space is on the third floor. It has a great view overlooking the Hongcheongang River. At night, guests can also enjoy stars glistening in the night sky. The family guest building is a one-story building that can accommodate up to 6 guests. It also has a massage chair for relaxation. Each guest building has a private barbecue area. This recreational forest, famous for its clear water and broad-leaved virgin forest, is located at the foot of the Hwaaksan Mountain (1,468 m). The name of Jipdarigol has an amusing legend behind it: a young woman and a man, living on the different sides of a large valley, fell in love with each other and made a straw bridge (“jipdari”) to meet each other. Jipdarigol Recreational Forest of today is a popular destination for summer and fall, thanks to its wonderful valley and beautiful forest. The forest includes accommodations and an open-air deck for day trippers, installed along the valley with a x_width of 8 m2 and 15 m2. It can be used until 19:00, and tents and simple cooking are allowed. However, visitors are prohibited from using charcoal and wood fire, and electric equipment. Other facilities include the walking trail, hiking trails, and suspension bridge.

A luge is a cart ride driven downhill on a track. Vivaldi Park in Hongcheon offers Luge on its ski slopes during summer, spring, and fall. It is popular as a leisure sport to enjoy high speed even in the off-season when skiing is not possible. Guests of Vivaldi Park Resort can receive discounts, and Luge World guests may also use resort facilities. Tickets are sold based on the number of times one will ride. It is available to anyone between the ages of 3 to 64, and children under the age of 10 must be accompanied by an adult.

Soyang Dam (소양강댐)

Built in October 1973, Soyang Dam is the largest dam in Korea. It stands 123 meters high and 530 meters long and can hold up to 29 million tons of water. The stored water which has become Soyangho Lake, is Korea's largest man-made lake, spanning a large area that borders the Gangwon-do cities and districts of Chuncheon, Hongcheon, Yanggu, and Inje. Visitors can enjoy riding a ferry or walking on the 2.5-kilometer walking trail. Various restaurants and attractions are also nearby.
