Icheon has emerged as a new spring destination thanks to the large colony of sansuyu trees in Baeksa-myeon. The path from downtown Icheon to Yeongwonsa Temple, located on Wonjeonksan Mountain, is lined on both sides with these beautiful yellow trees.

The village is a quiet place, with a narrow road just wide enough for two cars, and a peaceful stream running off to the side. However, every spring, the village is awakened by the many photographers and tourists who visit. The second most-visited season is autumn, when the sansuyu trees fill out with bright red berries.

Coconut Ski Rental Shop, located in Docheok-myeon, Gwangju, is a ski and snowboard rental shop just a one-minute drive from Gonjiam Resort. The shop offers the latest equipment and apparel each season, along with fitting services tailored to each customer’s body type. All gear and clothing are replaced and inspected seasonally, and all items are laundered using baby-safe detergent, with hygiene as a top priority. The shop also offers an “instant smartphone photo printing service,” allowing visitors to print photos taken on-site as keepsakes. Its close proximity to the resort makes it easy to access, and a free pickup service is available for visitors without a car. All lessons are taught by certified instructors, ensuring a safe learning environment for beginners and children. Gwangju Gonjiam Ceramic Park (광주 곤지암도자공원)

Located in Sam-ri, Gwangju in Gyeonggi-do, Gwangju Gonjiam Ceramic Park is largely comprised of a historic site from the Old Stone Age Era. This site was where porcelain was made and sold to the royal palace during the Joseon period. The park spans an area of over 6,611 ㎡, consisting of a sculpture park, ceramic shopping mall, cultural hall, performance hall, the Old Stone Age experiential madang, Jungang Lake Square, and other facilities that all visitors can freely enjoy within the park.

Mosaic Park, built based on art works regarding ceramics, and Gyeonggi Ceramic Museum, exhibiting art pieces in sequential order, are the venues for various hands-on programs as well as food culture, outdoor, performances, events and other programs taking place all year round. The park features a multicultural complex that meets every need in tradition, culture, art, education, play, resting and others.

Wentteok Village gets its name from the word “Wentteok” (meaning “unexpected windfall”) and is a slow food village located in Jungneung-ri, Wonsam-myeon, Yongin-si, Gyeonggi-do. At the village, you can make traditional rice cake from fresh seasonal ingredients or make a tteok (rice cake) cake and have your own small party.

The village is a great venue to learn more about tteok (rice cakes) and to enjoy other hands-on activities such as eco-friendly farming activities and other traditional activities.

Konjiam Ski Resort (곤지암리조트 스키장)

Konjiam Resort is 4 kilometers and 40 minutes away from Gonjiam IC and Gangnam respectively, which is the most attractive feature of this ski resort. It is comprised of large-scale ski slopes, condominiums, a spa, botanical garden and other subsidiary facilities as a multi-complex premium resort.
Its slopes are designed widely for beginner, intermediate-skiers, and snowboarders. In particular, three lifts connecting to the top of the ski slopes as well as a 1.8 kilometer-long slope for beginners and intermediate skiers are loved by visitors. To hold an international competition, the resort worked hard to earn certificates from International Ski Federation (FIS) for four slopes out of nine total.

Hwadam Botanic Garden is an eco-friendly arboretum located within Konjiam Resort in Gwangju, Gyeonggi-do, a 40-minute drive away from Seoul. In an effort to revive the country's forest ecosystem, LG Evergreen Foundation brought in approximately 4,300 types of exquisite and domestic plants to form a forest park divided into 17 themes. "Hwadam" can be translated into "friendly communication," a name given to the forest in hopes that the area serves as means for people to communicate with nature. While the forest is designed to offer an environmentally friendly atmosphere to humans, the ecosystem and habitats of the forest are well-preserved, serving as a home to many living species.

Dae Jang Geum Park (용인 대장금파크)

Dae Jang Geum Park is the largest historical drama set of MBC in Korea, featuring various architectural sets reconstructed from different historical periods. It has served as the filming location for famous TV series like "Jumong," "Lee San, Wind of the Palace," and "The Great Queen Seondeok," as well as movies such as "The Face Reader" and "The Treacherous." Visitors can immerse themselves in history at the royal costume experience room, where they can wear traditional costumes and take photos on the various sets.
