Anseong was the birthplace of namsadang, troupes of entertainers who traveled around the country during the Joseon era, and the hub of Korean art and culture. Namsadang Baudeogi Festival aims to develop and continue the heritage of the artistic spirit of Baudeogi by providing various traditional performances and events. The festival also became designated as the official festival of UNESCO's CIOFF (International Council of Organizations of Folklore Festivals and Folk Arts) in 2006.

Namsadang refers to performance troupes which started during the late Joseon period (1392-1910). At the time, Namsadang troupes traveled throughout villages, entertaining the people with traditional performances such as pungmulnori, tightrope walking, and more. Regular Namsadang performances in Anseong first began in order to commemorate Anseong Namsadang, known to be the best of all Namsadang troupes, and the troupe's leader, Baudeogi.

Namsadang is a renowned troupe that combines regional traditional arts, such as acrobatics, singing, dancing, and circus performances that originated from the Anseong area. The troupe was formed in honor of Baudeogi, a celebrated artist of the Joseon dynasty and Korea's first official female entertainer.

Namsadang performs on an ongoing basis and also focuses on developing and promoting various hands-on Namsadang programs. Through their world tour, Namsadang plays a big role in spreading Korea's culture internationally. The annual Baudeogi Festival is also a great opportunity for visitors to take in various performances and take part in activities.

Anseong Machum Land is a resting place in the forest for Anseong citizens, and at the same time, it is a place for culture and arts. Masan Agu Icheon Ssalbap is a Korean table d‘hote restaurant in Deokpyeong-ri, Icheon-si, Gyeonggi-do. This restaurant has been run by a family for 20 years, and its owner personally cooks all the dishes. Gang Seonyeong, who devoted a lifetime to traditional dance, built the Taepyeongmu Instruction Hall at her own expense in 1998 in her hometown of Anseong for the proper initiation into, and the preservation of traditional dance. Taepyeongmu dance is a traditional court dance that embodies the continuing hope for the nation to exist in peace. The dancers are adorned in magnificent regal costumes and execute enthusiastic movements, alternating steps while in serene repose. The center has a large performance hall with dance performances every Saturday and a museum displaying Taepyeongmu dance-related materials and folk articles from around the world.

Icheon Termeden, Korea's first German-style spa resort, is spread over an area of around 30,000 square meters. It is located next to a thick forest, so visitors can enjoy the water and spa facilities as well as take a stroll in the forest. The water park has a very large bade pool, a hot spring spa, sport facilities, arcades, a cultural hall, and other subsidiary facilities.

Unlike Japanese-style spas, which contain mainly hot baths, German-style spas are more focused on water massages. Water jets located in the bade pool shoot out water, which massages various parts of the body and at the same time revitalizes the skin. In addition, you can walk, swim, or exercise in the water stream pool, which has a depth of 120 centimeters.
