The Anyang Public Art Project (APAP) started in 2005 and has led to the creation of many beautiful works of art that decorate the city's public spaces. The Anyang Foundation for Culture & Arts has created a tour program to explore the wonderful works, starting from the earliest works in 2005 up until now.

Gwanggyo Lake Park is the largest lake park in the city center of Korea. The park is designed to blend the scenic nature of Gwanggyosan Mountain and the nearby reservoirs with urban culture. It consists of urban levees and 6 different themed "dumbeong," the Korean term for a pool of water.

Gungnara Naengmyeon Mukbap originally opened in Ansan, serving up delicious meals of naengmyeon and mukbap. The restaurant became popular, and eventually moved to its current location in Seoul. The jiggly acorn jelly goes well wit the sweet and sour broth in mukbap, a favorite summer-time dish. Visitors can also order the dish with a warm broth for a delicious and healthy dish year round.
