Founded in 1949, this general hospital specializes in orthopedics and joint care. It is a nationally certified general hospital and a government-designated joint specialty hospital. As a third-generation institution, it is now led by Director Lee Sang-hoon, who has been appointed as the Chairman of the Medical Committee of the Korean Sport & Olympic Committee (KSOC) and is recognized as a pioneer in sports medicine in Korea. Sareung Royal Tomb is the tomb of Queen Jeongsun (1440-1521), a consort to King Danjong. She was perhaps the most tragic royal woman of the Joseon dynasty.

In 1453, she was selected to be queen out of many candidates and actually became the queen two years later. However, when King Danjong was forced to abdicate from the throne in 1457 and was exiled to Yeongwol in Gangwon-do, Queen Jeongsun was deprived of her title as well.

After King Danjong died, she built a thatched-roof house outside Seoul’s Dongdaemun Gate and lived there for the rest of her life, continuing to mourn her husband. The tomb’s name, Sareung, came from the fact that she had missed her dead husband so much.

Unlike other royal tombs, Sareung looks very simple. Its size is relatively small.

Paldangho Lake (팔당호)

Paldangho, a man-made lake, lies beside the townships of Toechon-myeon and Namjong-myeon in Gwangju-si, Gyeonggi-do. Completed in 1973, this reservoir stores approximately 250 million tons of water, which is supplied to the Seoul and Gyeonggi regions. It is also one of Gwangju's tourist attractions, offering an inspiring view and a scenic lakeside drive. Don’t miss a stop at the Paldang Observatory for a breathtaking view of Paldangho Lake.

Sealala Water Park is a water park at the heart of the city where one can enjoy water activities across the four seasons. Yanghwa Hangang Park (한강시민공원 양화지구(양화한강공원))

Situated on the southern part of the Hangang River, Yanghwa Hangang Park stretches between the mouth of Yeouido Saetgang Tributary and the Gayang Bridge in Gangseo-gu, Seoul. This spacious park is lush with vegetation and offers a spectacular view of the river.

The park is located nearby a number of other attractions including Seonyudo Park, an island in the river, which has been transformed into an ecological park; Seonyu Bridge; and the World Cup Fountains, with jets shooting 202 meters in x_height.

There is a wide bike trail that runs through the park that connects this park with the other Hangang River Parks. Every May, the bike trail is flanked by lush green grass and beautiful roses, making it the ideal photo spot.

Nuengnae Station [Discontinued Station] (능내역 폐역)

Neungnae Station, located in Namyangju, was discontinued in November 2008 with the opening of Ungilsan Station. The station has been maintained as a monument, with some of the train tracks still in place. A bicycle path in front of the station connects Neungnae Station with the nearby Dasan Historic Site.

Seoul Geumseonsa Temple (금선사(서울))

Geumseonsa Temple is located within Bukhansan National Park, just behind Cheong Wa Da (The Blue House) and Gyeongbokgung Palace. The entrance to the temple is just off the hiking path to Bibong Peak.

After passing Banyajeon Hall, where Buddhist services are held, visitors will see a pine tree over 200 years old, and beyond that, a staircase with 108 steps leading up to Daejeokgwangjeon Hall in the temple's main area. To the right is Samseonggak House and Hongyegyo Bridge over the clear waters flowing down from the mountain.

Additional temple buildings include Mitajeon Hall and Yeonhwadang Hall, built in 2004 by Monk Beopan; and Jeokmukdang Hall, built using traditional construction techniques.
