Korea Military Academy is a place of strict rules, patriotism, and military cadets. It was extremely difficult for outsiders to visit the academy until 1997, when a special tourism course was created. The course showcases the major sites at Korea Military Academy. Starting from the school information center, visitors can see the museum, memorial hall, and exhibition center in a 1.5 hour course. The Military Museum displays treasures and materials from each branch of the military, while visitors can see the history of the military and lifestyle of cadets at the memorial hall. However, the highlight of a trip to Korea Military Academy is watching the Hwarang Ceremony, a parade of cadets which takes place every Saturday at 11:30. In the ceremony, cadets don their formal uniform to march. Touring the academy at 10 is perfect for watching the parade later.

Seoul Hwagyesa Temple (화계사(서울))

Hwagyesa Temple was built in 1522 (the seventeenth year of the reign of King Jungjong of the Joseon dynasty) by monk Shinwol, but was destroyed in a fire in 1618. It was rebuilt the following year, and expanded In 1866 through the efforts of Monks Yongseon and Beomun.
The temple also has various templestay programs for visitors. Hwagyesa Temple is located not too far from the city but also provides a natural environment.

Approx. 250 kinds of herbs and various other plants are planted inside the herbal plant museum so visitors can see beautiful green plants throughout the year. The herbal plant museum consists of a total of four exhibition spaces, three indoor and one outdoor. The Latin American Cultural Center Museum was established in 1994 to inform visitors about the culture and arts of Latin America. The museum exhibits artifacts from the Maya, Aztec, Inca, and early colony period that represents Latin America, as well as paintings, sculptures, traditional cloth and more from artists that represents the region. The Sculpture Park showcases pieces from 12 contemporary artists throughout the park, walking trail and rest area. In 2011, Religion Exhibition Hall opened which has a large mural and stain glass that is 24 meters in x_width and 5 meters in x_height.
