Seoul Rose Festival takes place every May in the area of Jungnang-gu, where thousands of roses bloom to form a 5.15 kilometer-long rose tunnel. The festival focuses on the beautiful aspect of roses, with many performances and activity programs that will entertain visitors. The festival celebrates each day with diverse contents based on different themes and provides photo zones throughout the event venue for visitors.

Due to the Covid-19 situation, the festival for the year 2022 is limited in size and accommodates up to 300 people at a time.

Mokpo Modern History Museum is the oldest building in Mokpo and a witness to Korea’s modern and contemporary history. It was built in 1898 and was used to house various public organizations, like city halls, consulates, and cultural centers, before being turned into the Mokpo Modern History Museum in 2014. As a building that has survived through rapid changes, it is valued for its historical and architectural significance. The museum has an exhibition on Mokpo’s history, organized into seven themes, detailing the history of the production and exploitation of various goods during the Japanese colonial period (1910-1945), along with miniature recreations of the streets of Mokpo city at that time.

Yongma Falls Park (용마폭포공원)

Yongma Falls Park is situated on the mid-slope of Yongmasan Mountain, established following the closure of an aggregate collection plant. Bukhansan Mountain is a mountain representing Seoul, which 5 million people visit every year. Bukhansan Dulle Trail is a low-lying, horizontal walking trail created by connecting and refining existing side paths, allowing for a leisurely walk along the foot of the mountain. The Pine Forest Trail, one section of the trail consisting of 21 themes, is 2.9 kilometers long from the entrance to Uiryeong Trail to the top of Solbat Neighborhood Park. It is filled with majestic pine trees, and the road is wide and gentle, making it a perfect place to enjoy a walk. Most of the section is shaded by trees, so visitors can feel cool while walking up even on hot summer days.

The National Women’s History Exhibition Hall opened on December 9, 2002 in Daebang-dong, Seoul, but was moved to its current location in Goyang, Gyeonggi-do on September 1, 2014.
