Cheongsil Hoetjib is a restaurant that offers various dishes made with freshly caught seafood from the waters in front of Wando. Its signature dish is the jayeonsan hwareo hoe (sliced raw wild fish) made with locally caught fish. Samchi hoe (sliced raw spotted mackerel) is particularly famous, and sliced raw fish dishes featuring sea bream, sea bass, and rockfish are also consistently popular. One delicacy is placing a piece of samchi hoe on top of a piece of aged kimchi on a bed of larva, then wrapping and enjoying it together.

Wando Tower is an impressive 76 meters in x_height, and stands at the top of Dongmangsan Mountain in Wando. The area includes a plaza, walking path, resting area, and offers a fantastic view of the sunrise, sunset, and city at night.

The tower also overlooks several islands including Cheongsando Island, Bogildo Island, Nohwado Island, Sinjido Island and Gogeumdo Island. On clear days with high visibility, some islands like Jeju Island and Geomundo Island are also within sight. Located next to the tower is bongsudae (a fire signal beacon) and a walking path through Dongmangsan Mountain.

Sinji Myeongsasimni Beach is located at the center of Dadohaehaesang National Park. The beach got its name from its singing sand, and the name can be literally translated to "sound of sand that can be heard from 4 kilometers away." The beach shore has a x_width of 150 meters and a length of 4 kilometers, covered with shimmering silver sand, and forms a gradual slope into the shallow water. Wando Arboretum features the largest and oldest broadleaf evergreen colony in the nation, along with over 3,800 other flora on a grand plot of land. The arboretum is comprised of an exhibition hall, greenhouses, walking paths, an observatory, campground, basketball court, and more.

Created in 1991, Wando Arboretum is the only warm temperate arboretum in Korea where only 15% of the landscape is considered a warm temperate region. The broadleaf evergreen tree forest has high medicinal value, and is home to many species of rare warm temperate plants such as goodyera, calanthe striata, and cephalanthera falcata. There are 30 special gardens based on different plant types. From the observatory, visitors can enjoy the view of Dadohaehaesang National Park and the southern sea. The observatory offers an opportunity to educate visitors on nature and the environment and allows them to take a rest during their visit.

Dadohaehaesang National Park was established on December 23, 1981 as the 14th national park, and it is the nation's largest park, spread over 2,344 ㎢. Within this area are nearly 1,700 islands of varying sizes, including Hongdo, Heuksando, Geomundo, and Baekdo Islands. During the Silla period, the King of the Sea, Jang Bogo established the maritime world and during the Goryeo dynasty, the area was a trading path with the Yuan and Song dynasties. Also, it was the battlefield where Admiral Yi Sun-sin defeated the invading navy during the Imjin War (1592-1598). Likewise, historical sites remain in many places.
