Located in Danyang, Danuri Aquarium houses a lot of freshwater fish with a wide array of fish species from Korea and overseas, consisting of 20,000 fish of 63 species and 1,600 fish of 87 species, respectively. Visitors can enjoy a wide selection of fish including Siniperca, a traditional fish from the Namhangang River, sweetfish and Korean bitterling, as well as various fish species from other countries all in one spot. Also, the aquarium offers a special sightseeing point, in the form of a fish tank decorated with the theme of Eight Scenic Views of Danyang.

Deokpojin Museum of Education was established by Kim Dong-seon, an elementary school teacher, for his wife, Lee In-suk who lost her eye sight due to an accident while she was also an elementary school teacher. He decided to build the museum to cheer up his wife who was deeply depressed with the fact that she could no longer teach students. Through the husband's will to give his wife opportunities to teach children again, his dream to create hands-on educational programs not available in the ordinary school education system became a reality as well. The museum was finally opened in 1996 with materials collected by the couple, comprised of a music class taught with her pump organ and Mr. Kim's collection of various school materials such as a book wrapper, a nature textbook from 1960, nickel silver lunch boxes and more. These collections attracts many visitors, from kindergarteners to university students and even family visitors.

Chosun Minhwa Museum finished construction in 1998, in Waseok-ri, Gimsatga-myeon, Yeongwol-gun, Gangwon-do and opened on July 29, 2000. The museum contains about 3,000 folk paintings (minhwa) from the Joseon era and is comprised of a hands-on program hall where visitors can paint a minhwa on a wood plate and the chunhwa (obscene painting) exhibition which is eligible for only adults.

In addition to this museum, Gimsatgat Culture Hall and Indian Art Museum are also in Yeongwol.

Jeonju Hanbyeok Culture Center offers visitors a chance to both witness and experience a series of various cultural traditions. The Jeju World Natural Heritage Center was established to acknowledge Jeju Island’s value as the sole UNESCO World Natural Heritage in Korea. It is comprised of various facilities including a 4D video room, lava tunnel experience, origins of Jeju-do, and many other activities that visitors can experience first-hand. Jeju World Natural Heritage Center is located in the Geomunoreum Lava Tube System, which was designated as a UNESCO World Natural Heritage in 2007, one of the 20 ecological tourism spots selected by the Ministry of Environment of Korea in 2009, as well as a Korean-style ecological tourism model.

Miryang Museum features cultural items and materials of the Nakdonggang River area. The purpose of the museum is to effectively preserve, exhibit, and acknowledge the history and culture of the area through collecting, researching, investigating and organizing the items on display. In addition, the museum was established to enhance cultural nostalgia and contribute to public education.

The museum is comprised of several halls, including a permanent exhibition hall and a temporary exhibition hall, showing the history of Miryang during the Samhan era and the Joseon dynasty. Collections include various cultural assets designated by Gyeongsangnam-do, as well as an exhibit-style storage of literary works, and folk and daily relics.

Daejeon Municipal Museum, comprised of a permanent exhibition hall, donated relics exhibition hall, planned hall, and city promotion hall, was created as a cultural area for citizens according to the Doan New City Development Project of Daejeon on October 16, 2012.

The permanent exhibition hall presents precious cultural assets in Daejeon with the theme of life and culture of Confucian scholars of Daejeon. The donated relic exhibition hall showcases artifacts donated by residents of Daejeon, and in the planned exhibition hall, a special exhibition is held to offer diverse items to see one or two times a year. In addition, various hands-on programs, lectures, and performances are given in the museum to entertain visitors.
