Located at the back entrance of the previous express bus terminal, Geochang Matdol a.k.a. Maldduki Galbi is an accessible place by the public transportation.
The first floor of the restaurant is dedicated as a tofu specialty restaurant while the second floor serves 'galbi’ (grilled ribs).
Every morning from 5 a.m., the restaurant’s cooking staff has been grinding soybeans with a hand mill to prepare the day’s ‘dubu’ (tofu) for over 20 years now.
Geochang Matdol also insists strictly sticking to the old-fashioned method of making ‘dubu’ (tofu).
The yellow soil covered interior creates a reminiscent atmosphere, so the diners can savor the original taste of homemade Korean ‘dubu’ (tofu).
Many gourmet diners are regulars of this place. Also, families and diners in groups are welcomed.

Gobau Sikdang is famous for Songi Jeongsik (mushrooms set menu) and Sanchae Jeongsik (vegetable set menu). Cooked variety vegetable dishes like mushrooms, bracken and balloon flower from Gaya Mountain and soybean paste stew is great. Deodeok Gui (Grilled wild lanceolate root ‘Deodeok’) and Pyogo Mushroom have a unique smell, but are good for health. The Songi mushroom dish is excellent in the fall season.
