Located in Gwangan 2-dong, Suyeong-gu, Busan, Halmae (meaning "grandmother" in Busan dialect) Jaecheopguk has a long history of selling jaecheopguk (clear shellfish soup) made with jaecheop, or shellfish, caught from the nearby Gupo area to people who sought refuge in Busan during the Korean War.

Each bowl of cool tasting broth has abundant amounts of jaecheop. Jaecheop has long been widely used as an ingredient to help in relieving hangover symptoms.

Le Centre de Voile de Busan fut utilisé pendant les Jeux d’Asie en 1986 et les Jeux Olympiques en 1988 à Séoul. Le centre est reconnu dans le monde pour la qualité de ses installations et il dispose de 1300 bateaux au total. Beaucoup de régates sont organisées et on peut y voir à proximité des installations qui rappellent les jeux olympiques comme le parc de sculptures, le parc des loisirs, les sentiers des promenades et les cafétérias. On trouve également à proximité des écoles pour pratiquer les sports nautiques comme la voile, la planche à voile et la plongée. Le paysage environnant est magnifique et s’ouvre entièrement sur l’océan. La zone a également subit des aménagements pour rendre cet espace encore plus naturel.

Le centre est situé à Haeundae où l’on trouve aussi la route Dalmaji, la plage Haeundae, l'île Dongbaek, la plage Sonjeong et la plage Gwangalli.
