Le district du cinéma de Busan n'était à l'origine qu'un ensemble de petits cinémas qui furent construits après la libération du règne colonial japonais il y a plus de cinquante ans. L'endroit fut rénové en 1996 avant la première édition du festival du film de Busan (BIFF). Ce district rénové fut nommé BIFF Square le 14 août 1996

Le BIFF Square a contribué à la renaissance de Busan en tant que ville touristique. La rue de 428 mètres allant du cinéma Buyeong à Nampo-dong au pont autoroutier Chungmu-dong est divisée en “Rue des Stars” et “Rue du Festival”. C'est dans cette rue que se tient chaque année le “Ground Opening of the BIFF Square”. Durant cette cérémonie se tient des événements tels que la prise des empreintes des stars de cinéma et Nunggot Jeomdeung. Au cours des dernières années, de nombreux magasins ont ouvert près des cinémas, attirant un nombre croissant de jeunes et de touristes.

Located in Bupyeong-dong, Jung-gu, Gupojip is a representative Gyeongsang-do style chueo-tang (loach soup) restaurant that has been around for a long period of time. Bracken is added to the thick broth, making the chueo-tang tastier. Their soy bean paste is also very good and added to the chueo-tang. The cabbages and bean sprouts add hearty flavor to it, too. Various vegetables remove the wild taste and make the broth gentle.

Le stade “Asiad Main Stadium” est constitué d’une scène en sous-sol et 4 scènes au niveau supérieur. Sa surface est de 330 000 m2, et il est équipé de 53 000 sièges comprenant 252 places pour personnes à mobilité réduite. Le stade peut contenir jusqu’à 80 000 spectateurs. L’installation a commencé à être construite en 1993 pour un budget total de 22 649 800 wons, faisant intervenir 488 000 travailleurs pour 7 ans et 8 mois de travaux. Un stade annexe est aussi present avec une surface de 24 785m2. Le site est désormais un complexe multi-spectacles. Le bâtiment fait de courbes et de volutes est censé rappeler le côté maritime de la ville de Busan et les vagues de la mer.

Ce stade a été le premier à être reconnu comme le premier équipement de pointe en terme de spectacles en Corée par la Fédération internationale d’athlétisme. Le stade est aussi équipé d’écran géant permettant de profiter pleinement des concerts.

Hannyang Jokbal (한양족발)

Hannyang Jokbal, located on Nampodong Food Street, is a Jokbal (steamed pigs’ feet) ‘Matjip’ (a term that refers to the most delicious restaurants in a certain area). Hanyang Jokbal is one of the most famous restaurants on the street, which is well known for jokbal.

The most famous dish at the restaurant is ‘Nangchae Jokbal’. This cold pigs’ feet dish is a specialty of Nampodong Food Street, but is hard to find in other parts of Korea. The combination of steamed pig feet, fresh cucumber, and jellyfish mixed with mustard sauce is a must-try food for visitors to Busan.
