Sanggwan Village, located at the foot of Ansimsan Mountain at Sora-myeon, Yeosu-si, is the first hanok (traditional Korean house) village in Yeosu and one of Jeollanam-do’s Happiness Village. All rooms in Yeosu Hanok Experience Center are furnished with ondol (under-the-floor heating system) and red clay-lined walls for a healthy stay. The house can only be rented as a whole, containing a bedroom, two ondol rooms, a living room, and two restrooms. The house has a building area of 112 m2, with standard occupancy of 10 and the maximum occupancy of 15. Each additional guest above standard occupancy carries a surcharge of KRW 10,000, with exemptions for guests under 7 years of age. All rooms are furnished with toiletries and hair dryer.
The kitchen is equipped with kitchen utensils, gas stove, refrigerator, microwave oven, and electric kettle. There is a separate barbecue area, with complimentary grill and charcoal available for renting. The grass lawn has a raised open floor and a 7 m-deep well.
Experience programs on offer include traditional games like yunnori (traditional Korean board game), neolttwigi (Korean seesaw), and kite flying, and injeolmi (bean-powder-coated rice cake) making. Guests who wish to take part in the latter must place a reservation at least one week in advance. Free pickup service is offered for Yeosu Airport and Yeosu Bus Terminal. Guests must notify the accommodations at least one hour before arrival. Nearby attractions include The Ocean Resort Waterpark, Yeosu Soho Marina, and Soho Dongdong Bridge.
Temple Chungminsa à Yeosu (여수 충민사)

Le temple Chungmisa (trésor culturel 138 en Corée) se situe sur le flanc du mont Marae (385.2m), Lee Hang-bok (1556-1618) fut envoyé par le roi sur place après les attaques du Japon en Corée et pour observer l'odre public. Le lieu fut ensuite sous le contrôle du gouverneur Lee Si-eon (?~1624). En 1919, le lieu tombe sous le contrôle du gouvernement impérial japonais, le temple est ensuite restauré avec l'aide des résidents de la région avant d'être classé comme trésor culturel en 1993.
* Chungminsa Hamabi
A l'entrée du temple, on trouve un écriteau sculptée d'une hauteur de 4 mètres, et d'une largeur de 42 cm. On appelle cette dale 'Hamabi'. Il s'agit d'une dalle qui était traditionnellement posé devant les endroits symboles de la royauté, ce qui témoigne de la valeur de ce site. Cette dalle était autrefois située à une centaine de mètres du temple mais fut déplacée à l'entrée du temple pour permettre la construction d'une route.
