Temple Gwangdeoksa (광덕사)

Le temple de Gwangdeoksa, situé dans la montagne Charyongsan, a été fondé par un moine en 637 et a été rénové durant le règne du roi Heungdeok en 832. C’était le plus grand temple des provinces de Chungcheong et Gyeonggi avant l’invasion japonaise. Mais il a été brûlé pendant l’invasion japonaise et les principaux bâtiments, comme le Daeungjeon, le Myeongbujeon et le Cheonbuljeondeung sont de construction récente. Le temple de Gwangdeoksa possède une pagode à trois étages dont la construction daterait du début de la dynastie Goryo, ainsi que la tour de Jonggak et son pavillon octogonal à la forme unique.

Parc Sinjeongho (신정호관광지)

Le parc touristique Sinjeongho fut crée en 1993 sur une terre de 272 000m² dans le quartier de Bangchuk-dong à Asan. Le parc détient plusieurs attractions dont une pelouse, un jardin aux oiseaux, un jardin de fleurs sauvages, une aire dédiée aux sculptures, des installations pour les enfants et une statue de l’amiral Lee Sun-shin haute de 8,45 mètres. La zone écologique à l’entrée du parc Sinjeongho contient une variété de plantes et arbres comme des pins et des azalées, et l’aire dédiée aux sculptures attire de nombreux visiteurs pendant l’hiver notamment pour sa statue de glace large de 8 mètres et haute de 3 mètres. Le lac de Sinjeongho, situé en face du parc touristique, est un lieu très réputé pour ses spots de pêche accessibles toute l’année et les visiteurs peuvent profiter d’un moment privilégié sur les bateaux à moteurs et bateaux de loisir.

This hanok (traditional Korean house) is located in Ochang Hanok Village within Ochang-eup’s Miraeji Theme Park. Ochang Hanok Village is a collection of about 20 modernized hanok buildings that boast excellent views of the mountain and the Ochang Reservoir nearby. Gayeongdang is owned by Kim Byeong-hee, a master in flower tea who has studied Korea’s traditional flower tea for nearly 30 years. Visitors interested in Kim’s work have an opportunity to discuss the art of flower tea over tea and sweets with the master through Gayeongdang’s tea ceremony program.
Gayeongdang is a faithful recreation of the C-shaped hanok complex, centered around a grass lawn. It is constructed entirely out of Korean pine trees, which fills the indoor spaces with a rich scent of pine. The main and annex buildings are all Korean rooms with ondol (under-the-floor heating system). The former allows guests access to the room, the living room, and the tea ceremony room, while the latter allows opportunities for grilling in the lawn. The space is also available for small events like seminars, small concerts, and marriage ceremonies.
