Etabli sur un site de 4,990㎡ dans la ville de Guri, le village des forgerons Goguryeo abrite des reproductions d'une forge de l'époque Goguryeo, d'une forge de la tribue Malgal/Georan , de la maison d'un chef de village Geomul et un d'un village mongol. Le tout a coûté 2.2 milliards de wons à construire. C'est le seul village de forgerons de Corée, on y trouve le plus grand moulin à eau et four en briques du pays.

Des scènes de la série Taewangsasingi (Légende) y furent tournées, dépeignant la vie de tous les jours des personnes à l'époque Goryeo. Une fois le tournage de la série Taewangsasingi (Légende) terminée, l'endroit sera transformé en Village Folklorique Goguryeo. Une salle d'exposition présentant l'ancienne culture du fer sera aussi construite. Le site sera ouvert après décembre, lorsque le tournage sera terminé.
