Samjung is the first and oldest Korean blowfish specialty restaurant. It has been serving raw blowfish courses for 3 generations. The chefs are quite skilled, able to detoxify a blowfish and serve it up to eat in just five minutes.

Lieu saint de Seosomun (서소문순교성지)

Le carrefour près de Seosomun était un lieu d'exédution à l'époque de Joseon. Ce lieu s'appelait 'Sigumun' qui signifie la porte où les cadavres passent. Ils transportaient les cadavres par Seoeomun et exécutaient les coupable à ce lieu où il y avait un marché à l'époque. Les citoyens pouvaient regarder à la scène d'exécution ce qui alarmait les personnes. En 1984, 103 martyrs sont nés dans le catholicisme de Corée, qui est également un événement peu probable dans l'histoire mondial catholique. Pour les croyants catholiques en Corée, Seosomun est considéré comme l'un des lieux saints importants parce que de nombreux prêtres catholiques ont été martyrisés à ce site. Parmi 103 martyrs coréens, 44 ont été martyrisés ici. En outre, une béatification a eu lieu ici en 2014, pour bénir les 124 personnes.

Le Terminal de Bus de Dong Séoul est situé au sein de la station de métro Gangbyeon sur la ligne 2 (sortie numéro 4). Guesthouse Nuha is a ‘hanok’ or traditional Korean house consisting of four guestrooms located in Nuha-dong, Seochon (west of Gyeongbokgung Palace, Jongno, Seoul) where many Confucian scholars and artists lived during the Joseon Dynasty. Exuding a refined atmosphere, Guesthouse Nuha is very popular among not only domestic visitors but also foreign tourists who want to experience the flavor of Korea in a cozy hanok. All four guestrooms (An-bang, Sarang-bang, Geul-bang, and Byeol-dang) are covered with eco-friendly hanji (traditional Korean paper handmade from mulberry tree) wallpaper, and are equipped with a thick cotton-wool comforter and pillows imbued with the scent of Hinoki cypress tree to help guests relieve their fatigue. Breakfast is served free of charge. Guests can also experience traditional Korean culture here, such as playing a Korean musical instrument (janggu or double-headed drum), playing a game of yut in the yard, or wearing hanbok (traditional Korean clothes). Although a local bus service passes through the village, it is highly recommended to take a quiet leisurely around the area.

Forteresse Achasanseong (아차산성)

La forteresse Achasanseong offre une vue panoramique sur la rivière Han et ses alentours. Sa forme est hexagonale, sa circonférence inférieure à un kilomètre. Située au sommet, à 200 m d’altitude en direction de la rivière Han, exposée sud-est, elle offre une vue magnifique. Son nom a été modifié de Adan à Acha sous le règne du roi Taejo (1392-1398), et est appelée également Janghanseung ou Gwangjangseung. C’était un point stratégique qui fut pris et repris maintes fois à l’époque des Trois Royaumes (4ème-7èmesiècle), au cours de laquelle Goguryo, Baekje, et Silla se livraient une lutte acharnée pour la domination du territoire. Elle est chargée d’une valeur historique, le Roi Gaero (règne de 455-475) de Baekje y fut tué, défait par les troupes envoyées par le Roi Jangsu(règne de 413-491) de Goguryo ; le Général Ondal de Goguryo y est également mort en 590 au cours d’une bataille contre l’armée de Silla.

Le Mont Achasan est apprécié en tant qu’aire de détente avec son sentier de l’histoire et son parc naturel équipé d’un chemin de randonnée(1500m), de terrains de badminton, d’arènes de sable pour le ssireum (lutte traditionnelle), de terrains de tir à l’arc, de jeux pour enfants, de bancs, d’un pavillon etc...

This hanok (traditional Korean house) is located deep in the Seochon Village, west of Seoul’s Gyeongbokgung Palace. Its tasteful renovation of a small 33 m2 hanok made it highly popular among the younger guests. The courtyard has a low maple tree and tastefully arranged stones, while the hanok is capable of accommodating up to 2 persons.
This L-shaped hanok has a full window wall facing the living room, which is furnished with a low walnut table and a bathtub. Visitors can enjoy premium tea at the table. The bathtub, which is connected to the table at one end, can be used mainly for a foot bath with bath salts that assist circulation. There is also a restroom in the building.
Nuwa’s bedroom has a circular window, much like the full moon, with a view of the garden and the fringes of the Inwangsan Mountain.
