Le Parc de Cheonho, le parc emblématique du quartier de Gangdong à Séoul, est un petit parc qui a ouvert en 1998. Les riverains aiment à s’y promener, faire de l’exercice ou juste profiter du paysage. Le parc a été désigné comme « espace culturel » avec l’installation de la bibliothèque de Haegong en 2007, et on y a récemment installé une fontaine musicale, une scène en plein air et divers terrains de sport.
La récente fontaine musicale de 880 m² est particulièrement appréciée. Parmi les différents effets de scène, on trouve un écran d’eau sur lequel peuvent être projetées des images, une machine à brume et des jets d’eau alternés qui jaillissent au rythme de la musique. Le parc possède des équipements de remise en forme, comme par exemple des bancs d’exercice, des cross-trainers et des machines à poids. Ses terrains de sport pour le foot volleyball coréen, le badminton et le basket, ses bancs, ses pavillons et ses sentiers sont bien entretenus.
