Le Musée Manhwa de Corée préserve et expose des objets rares de dessins animés récents et classique ayant une valeur historique. Ces objets furent d’abord entreposés au Bucheon Manhwa Information Center (ex « Korea Manhwa Contents Agency »). Le musée fut déplacé et réside désormais dans le Bucheon Visual Culture Complex et expose une large gamme d’objets liés aux dessins animés.

Le festival international de la bande dessinée de Bucheon, organisé par le comité des opérations, et qui aura lieu au centre d’informations de la bande dessinée de Bucheon, permet de découvrir la bande dessinée coréenne d’aujourd’hui et donne un aperçu de sa future direction à travers les échanges internationaux. Depuis 1998 (année de sa création) jusqu’en 2001, le festival s’est concentré sur les expositions et les manifestations présentant les diverses tendances de la BD coréenne et les BD étrangères. En 2002, les organisateurs ont lancé la foire internationale aux bandes dessinées et le projet de promotion de Bucheon pour redonner vie à l’industrie de la BD en Corée et créer de nouvelles opportunités de business pour les publications coréennes et étrangères, en ajoutant une dimension internationale et en créant un marché international pour les auteurs et les éditeurs de Corée, d’Asie et d’Europe.
