La playa Anmok, de 150 km de longitud y un área de 20.000 ㎡, está siempre llena de familias en vacaciones. El lugar también se ha vuelto más famoso gracias a la Calle de los Cafés. La playa Anmok tiene el mejor ambiente romántico de Gangneung. Las máquinas expendedoras de café instaladas en la década de 1980 le sumaban romanticismo a la vista de la costa. Aquí comienza la Calle de los Cafés, que en la actualidad no tiene máquinas expendedoras sino cafeterías con diferentes conceptos de decoración interior. Muchas personas eligen este lugar para sentarse en las mesas al aire libre y compartir un café con la vista del mar en frente. Ver el atardecer desde aquí será una experiencia que no olvidará.
