Haeunjae (下隱齋), meaning “hermit’s residence,” is a hanok (traditional Korean house) residence located in Seochon Hanok Village, near Gyeongbokgung Station on Seoul Subway Line 3. It is dedicated to the ideal of “movies and rest,” and takes after the characteristic form of modern hanok with a small courtyard. The entire house is rented out at once, with a queen bedroom, kitchen, movie room, and two restrooms. Insadong Geujip, located in the famous neighbourhood of Insadong, is a Korean fusion restaurant that is particularly well known for its traditional, yet unique interior. Along with “Insadong Seafood Rice,” and “Insadong Geujip On Rice”, diners can find a range of delicacies including Hanbang Bossam (Herbal Napa Wraps with Pork), Savory Seafood & Spring Onion Pancake, and Kimchi Parae Pancake on the menu.

The restaurant's specialty, Geujip On Rice, a sort of Bibimbab made with a variety of seafood, vegetables and edible flowers and mixed together with rice and a red pepper paste called gochujang. The basic serving size is large enough to feed two.

The restaurant is housed in an old hanok (Korean traditional house) and has been carefully renovated to preserve the house’s traditional feel. Indoor lights wrapped with hanji, Korean traditional paper, shine a soft glow over the entire dining area and add to the overall ambience.

Museo de Arte Daelim (대림미술관)

Es un museo de arte correspondiente a la firma Daelim, fundada originalmente en Daejeon en el año 1996, pero en 2002 se ha trasladado al distrito de Jongno, Seúl. Se dedica al estudio y análisis del arte contemporáneo mediante la fotografía, motivo por el cual las obras exhibidas son piezas fotográficas. También cumple la función de fomentar y respaldar a los artistas principiantes para que puedan ejercer su oficio y contribuir para la nueva eclosión cultural y artística. El edificio del museo se encuentra ubicado en la cercanía del palacio Gyeongbokgung. El diseño arquitectónico lo ha realizado el francés Vincent Cornu, y de la construcción se ha encargado la compañía Daelim. El piso 1 está compuesto por el jardín, estacionamiento, sala de recepción, depósito, sala de reunión, etc., y, en los pisos 2 y 3 están las enormes salas de exposición y oficina, y finalmente en el piso 4 encontrará un seminario con capacidad para 120 personas y un balcón desde donde se observa un paisaje hermoso. Una de las peculiaridades resaltantes de este museo es que fue diseñado teniendo en consideración la temperatura, la humedad y el reflejo de luz que deben tener las obras.

Es un museo de arte inaugurado el 6 de diciembre de 1983, localizado en el centro de la ciudad de Seúl. Más allá de ser un espacio cultural para los artistas, es uno de los lugares turísticos frecuentados por los turistas extranjeros. En una superficie amplia de aproximadamente 1.650 ㎡, posee 5 salas destinadas a la exposición de obras artísticas, sector de exhibición al aire libre, escenario al aire libre para la representación de eventos culturales, pantalla audiovisual, la casa de té tradicional Dawon, etc.

Siendo un espacio cultural que incorpora todos los detalles modernos y tradicionales, es utilizado para la exposición de obras y como lugar de encuentro entre los artistas. Todos los rincones de este museo ofrecen algo para disfrutar, ya sea el escenario al aire libre, las esculturas que se encuentran en el jardín o las piezas de arte. En primavera y otoño, se realizan conciertos musicales y ensayos de obras con los autores.
