Dolsotbapjip is a restaurant near Gukje Market that serves bibimbap. It has served a consistently good bowl of bibimbap to its loyal customers over its long history, and people have to wait in line to eat the restaurant’s bibimbap. Dolsotbapjip has only two menus: sundubu jjigae dolsot bibimbap (soft bean curd jjigae and hot stone pot bibimbap) and doenjang jjigae dolsot bibimbap (soybean paste jjigae and hot stone pot bibimbap). Both feature dolsotbap (hot stone pot rice) and namul (salad) to make the bibimbap, served alongside jjigae.

Jungangsonguksu is a noodle restaurant with more than 50 years of tradition. All of the noodles served here are handmade, including udon noodles and buckwheat noodles. The entire menu is popular, but gullaembi udong (udon), buckwheat noodles, yubu chobap (fried tofu rice balls), and gim chobap (laver sushi) are especially popular. This is the fastest way to go downhill from Sanbok road to Busan port. The stairs are known to be as tall as a 6-story building and have exactly 168 steps. In the past, there used to be 3 wells located at the bottom of the stairs, which locals would wait in line to draw water when there was insufficient water, but now, there is only one well with drinking water.
