Old Guam Seowon is a traditional Korean guesthouse located between Dongseong-ro and Seomun Market in Daegu. With land area of 2,300㎡, it has a total of six guestrooms, a shared living room, a bathroom, and a kitchen. The house has a large yard where guests can play various traditional Korean games such as "tuho" and "jaegichagi." In the backyard, guests can shoot arrows and try on traditional Korean clothes. Both the guestrooms and bathrooms were remodeled to have some of the modern conveniences. If you want, you can cook at the shared kitchen. Bread and cup noodles are served for breakfast. Jjim galbi (braised galbi) is one of Daegu's top ten items, which visitors can experience at the Dongin-dong Jjim Galbi Street. Among the restaurants here, Sanho Jjim Galbi has appeared on various prodcasts, thanks to their tender meat and tasty, spicy sauce. The restaurant uses only the finest meat from domestic stock, cooked with medicinial herbs in the braising process for a taste that is surpreme.

Furthermore, the popularity of Bongsan Jjimgalbi has given rise to other jjimgalbi restaurants on the same street that is now known as Dongin-dong Jjimgalbi Street. National Debt Redemption Movement Memorial Park (국채보상운동기념공원)

Construction on the National Debt Redemption Movement Memorial Park began in March 1998 and was completed in December 1999. The park was established to retain the spirit of the National Debt Redemption Movement that originated in Daegu in 1907 and the 2nd movement in 1997 that was held to help overcome the national economic distress affected by the Asian Financial Crisis of 1997. The park also expanded the green space in the downtown area and offers a place of rest and relaxation to the general public.

Spanning 42,500 square meters in size, the park boasts the Dalgubeol Grand Bell, a bell pavilion, walking trails, and other amenities. The famous Dalgubeol Grand Bell was installed on the park grounds in December 1998 as a representation of harmony and prosperity and to symbolically awaken the people with its pure and clear ringing. In addition the convenient and beautifule amenities, the park also has several memorial plaques engraved with quotes from many significant historical figures who shaped Korea's culture and values.
