Located in Danyang, Danuri Aquarium houses a lot of freshwater fish with a wide array of fish species from Korea and overseas, consisting of 20,000 fish of 63 species and 1,600 fish of 87 species, respectively. Visitors can enjoy a wide selection of fish including Siniperca, a traditional fish from the Namhangang River, sweetfish and Korean bitterling, as well as various fish species from other countries all in one spot. Also, the aquarium offers a special sightseeing point, in the form of a fish tank decorated with the theme of Eight Scenic Views of Danyang.

Yangbangsan Paragliding Site is situated 664 meters above sea level at the top of Yangbangsan Mountain. Gosudonggul Cave, a natural limestone marvel, is recognized as a Natural Monument of Korea. Spanning nearly 1,700 meters in length, this ancient cave has been shaped over 500 million years. Inside, visitors can marvel at an array of spectacular formations including stalactites, stalagmites, underground lakes, and cave pearls. The cave also houses unique rock formations such as Sajabawi Rock, Dodamsambongbawi Rock, a statue resembling the Virgin Mary, and the romantically named Thousand-year Love Rock. The cave is conveniently located just one kilometer from the Danyang Intercity Bus Terminal.

Mancheonha Skywalk (만천하 스카이워크)

Mancheonha Skywalk is located on a cliff of Nahangang River approximately 80-90 meters above waters. Visitors can enjoy walking on the clouds with the view of the waters below. Panoramic view of Danyang and Sobaeksan Mountain can be seen at the observatory. Thrill-seekers can enjoy the glass bottom walkway as well as nearby attractions including zipline and alpine coaster.

This is where Lee Young-ja received a plaque of appreciation, and Jeon Hyun-moo and Yoo Byung-jae gave a celebratory performance. Although often featured as an event venue on TV shows, Mancheonha Skywalk is best known for its observatory, with sweeping views of Danyang’s scenery. It attracts many tourists not only for the views but also for the variety of activities it offers.

The Dodamsambong Peaks consist of three distinctive stone pillars - Janggunbong, Cheobong, and Cheopbong Peaks - that rise majestically from the Namhangang River. Janggunbong, the tallest of the trio, hosts the historic Samdojeong Pavilion, a famed gathering place for the region's literati. Adjacent to these natural wonders, the Dodamsambong Tourist Area offers amenities and attractions such as the Sambong Story Hall, the Hwangpo Sailboat, a cruise ship quay, and a rest area, enhancing the visitor experience.

Dodamsambong Peaks refer to a trio of rocks that jut as islands in the upper Namhangang River. The trio is often considered one of the most beautiful tourist sites in Danyang. Indeed, many prominent characters from Korean history have sung its praise. Because it is located in the middle of the river, it can be seen from a distance, but a motorboat service allows visitors to get closer to the peaks. The ride takes about 10 minutes.

Dodamsambong Peaks have been featured in both “2 Days & 1 Night” and “IDOL 1N2D.” The scenery is so breathtaking that the peaks are considered one of Danyang’s Eight Scenic Views. Built during the Japanese occupation, Suyanggae Tunnel has a length of 200 meters and x_width of 5 meters. The tunnel was neglected for many year until recent rennovation into a light tunnel. The light tunnel consist of updated videos, sound system and LED media facade, drawing visitors both locally and internationally.
