King Sejong Statue can be found at Seoul’s Gwanghawmun Square. The statue commemorates King Sejong the Great (1397-1450, reign 1418-1450), the fourth king of Joseon (1392-1897). He is thought to be the greatest king in Korean history, for he is credited with great developments in science and technology, expansion of Joseon’s territory, and the creation of the Korean script, [Hangeul]. Located within the Hwado Pureunmul Center, the 61-meter tall Pianopokpo Falls is an artificial waterfall. It is constructed with a steel frame and an artificial rock structure to mimic a cliff-like appearance. The waterfall operates by pumping water discharged from the sewage treatment plant, creating a cascading flow. Opposite the falls stands a building shaped like a piano, which has won the "Beautiful Restroom" grand prize. Additionally, an ecological park has been developed in front of the waterfall, offering a pleasant walking experience.
