Jeongbangpokpo Falls, one of the three major waterfalls in Jeju-do, along with Cheonjiyeonpokpo Falls and Cheonjeyeonpokpo Falls, is located about 1.5 kilometers southeast of the center of Seogwipo.
The waterfall is the only coastal waterfall in Asia that falls directly into the sea, reaching 23 meters in x_height, 8 meters in x_width, and 5 meters in depth. When sunlight is reflected on the pouring water with the magnificent sound of a waterfall, a rainbow of seven colors harmonizes with the blue sea, creating a captivating atmosphere. On the high cliffs along the beach, old pine trees stand with branches hanging over the sea as if they were falling.

The 5.16 Road is the first national highway of Jeju and connects the cities of Jeju and Seogwipo. Drive the winding road toward Seogwipo to the points about 2.6 to 1.2 kilometers at a distance from Hallasan Seongpanak Rest Area to reach a tree tunnel shaped like an arch made with evergreen trees and deciduous trees. At the northern entrance to the tree tunnel, there is a sign reading, “The road is more beautiful if you drive slowly.” The road here is narrow and has many curves, causing a risk of accidents, so drivers should be careful. Another reason to slow down while driving on this road is to appreciate the surrounding scenery.
Located at the foot of Hallasan Mountain, the road provides various aspects of nature throughout the four seasons. Trees that extend out from both sides of the road and are bent as if embracing the sky provide cool shade in the summer, red leaves in the fall, and dazzling snow scenes in the winter. The 5.16 Tree Tunnel presents picturesque four seasons of Jeju.

St. Isidore Farm was born when an Irish priest named McGlinchey (Korean name: Im Pi-je) was appointed in Jeju's Hallim region in 1954 and opened a livestock bank to help the impoverished locals. In 1961, it officially opened a central practice farm to not only educate on the livestock industry but also carry out hog farming, sheep breeding, beef cattle raising and dairy businesses. Today, the farm primarily raises cows and racehorses and produces high-quality organic milk and horses for racing to utilize the profits in various welfare projects. The farmland also presents an exotic scenery as the vast grasslands blend in with modern structures such as Ctesiphon, which symbolizes the history of the farm. The farm also has a cafe that uses milk produced at the farm in addition to a trail and park with religious themes.

Historic Site of Anti-Mongolian Struggle in Hangpadu-ri is where the Sambyeolcho military unit of the Goryeo dynasty resisted the invasion of Mongolia until the last possible moment. The site houses an
exhibition hall, a monument, and a unique mud fortress. Nearby is Jangsumul Spring (Jangsu means general) which flowed from the footprints of General Kim Tong-jeong. Today, water from the spring
cannot be used as drinking water.
Sambyeolcho was a military unit of the Goryeo dynasty. When the Goryeo dynasty made peace with the Mongolian forces in February 1270 (the 11th year of King Wonjong), the Sambyeolcho special defense unit opposed it and launched a resistance movement. They moved their base to Jindo in Jeollanam-do, but after suffering a huge defeat, they moved to Jeju-do and built Hangpaduseong Fortress. They continued to fight against the Mongolian forces for two more years there. However, all the members were killed in April 1273 (the 14th year of King Wonjong).
This independent anti-Mongolian movement was born out the deeply patriotic belief in the need to safeguard the nation from foreign invasion. In 1977, the government invested 745 million won to restore part of the fortress and build a monument in commemoration of those who died in the war. The work was completed in June 1978.
