Temple Chungjangsa commémorant le général Kim Deok-ryeong

Le temple Chungjangsa a été construit en 1975 pour commémorer le général Kim Deok-ryeong dont la ville natale se trouve près du mont Mudeungsan. Dans l'enceinte, vous trouverez, entre autres, le portrait de Kim Deok-ryeong alors que les ordres du roi donnés à ce général sont exposés sur le site. Parmi les autres reliques, on compte la salle des reliques, la porte Chungyongmun et la porte Ikhomun. Dans la salle des reliques sont exposés les vêtements du général Kim Deok-ryeong, désignés comme matériel folklorique important n° 111, ainsi que le cercueil et les documents manuscrits extraits de la tombe du général. La tombe et la pierre tombale de Kim Deok-ryeong ainsi que les tombes de sa famille sont installées sur la colline derrière le temple.

Musée de la gastronomie folklorique de Namdo (남도향토음식박물관·호남문화자료전시관)

Situé dans la ville de Gwangju, le musée de la gastronomie folklorique de Namdo a ouvert ses portes pour préserver et promouvoir la nourriture folklorique de la région de Namdo. Le musée est intégré dans une bâtisse en forme de longue presse rectangle, utilisée pour fabriquer des gâteaux de riz et la pierre Ipseokdae du mont Mudeungsan, un symbole de la ville de Gwangju. Les murs du bâtiment sont colorés avec les 5 couleurs du obangsaek (bleu, blanc, rouge, noir et jaune) qui définit respectivement la direction, la saison, les organes humains, le goût, les sentiments, et la philosophie.
