Old Guam Seowon is a traditional Korean guesthouse located between Dongseong-ro and Seomun Market in Daegu. With land area of 2,300㎡, it has a total of six guestrooms, a shared living room, a bathroom, and a kitchen. The house has a large yard where guests can play various traditional Korean games such as "tuho" and "jaegichagi." In the backyard, guests can shoot arrows and try on traditional Korean clothes. Both the guestrooms and bathrooms were remodeled to have some of the modern conveniences. If you want, you can cook at the shared kitchen. Bread and cup noodles are served for breakfast. Situated in a residential area downtown, it's both quiet and very conveniently located for those planning to tour the city. Hyangchon Cultural Center opened on October 30, 2014 in what was previously the Daegu branch of Commercial Bank, and was founded to promote the revitalization of the local economy. During the refugee period in the 1950s, Hyangchon-dong served as a hometown to many cultural artists. The cultural center replicated the old looks of Hyangchon-dong, making the cultural space even more special. Moreover, in the basement of the building, is the original location and still running "Nokhyang," the oldest classical music hall in the nation, which opened in 1946.

This cafe is located near Seomun Market and Seomun Market Station on Daegu Subway Line 3. It is a hanok renovated with a retro and classic interior. Wooden doors and mother-of-pearl shelves between the seats create an atmosphere of warmth and relaxation, as if visiting a Korean grandmother's house. There are also seats in the yard where one can have coffee and dessert while enjoying the unique atmosphere of a hanok. Bongsan Culture Street is a landmark culture & arts place in Daegu. The street, which stretches all the way from Daegu Hakwon to Bongsan Yukgeori (six-way intersection), has over 20 galleries of various sizes.

It was 1991 when the small alley with several art galleries started to turn into a breeding ground for culture and the arts. Soon after, the street was officially designated ‘Bongsan Culture Street’ and subsequently, the roads were neatly paved, artistic street lamps were installed, and streetside gardens were created. With the opening of Bongsan Culture Center and Cultural House for Teens, the street became increasingly frequently by citizens, not just professional artists.

At Bongsan Culture Street, artwork os on display throughout the year and every October (when the Bongsan Art Festival is held) the whole street is filled with artistic passion.
