Jaman Mural Village is located in the ridge between Omokdae and Imokdae along the foot of Seungamsan Mountain’s Jungbawi Rock. Jeonju Hanok Village is also visible from the wide street. Although it is a fairly steep walk up to Jaman Village, visitors will be able to enjoy colorful murals painted on the buildings and walls along the way.

Jeonju Hanok Village is comprised of some 700 beautiful hanok buildings, and is Korea's largest, and only urban, traditional hanok village. The village started in the early 1900s around the areas of Gyeonggijeon Shrine, Omokdae, and Jeonjuhyanggyo Confusian Academy - all important cultural heritages. In particular, Jeonju bibimbap is considered one of the best foods in Korea. It is a nutritious and healthy food comprised of rice with bean sprouts, one of 10 famous foods in Jeonju. Jeonju's bibimbap is decorated with five colors and with five flavors that come from 30 different ingredients including ginkgo, pine nut, chestnut, walnut and fresh seasonal vegetables. It has a balanced nutrition, packed with carbohydrates, fats, protein, vitamins, and minerals alike. It is considered the perfect food embracing the ancestor’s wisdom and scientific theory.

Jeonju is the center of Korea's delicious cuisine and its representative food is bibimbap. Jeonju Bibimbap Festival is held in the area around Jeonju Hanok Village and Korean Intangible Cultural Heritage Hall.

Han Kook Jib was the first Korean restaurant to sell jeonju bibimbap since 1952, boasting a tradition that has been passed down through three generations. The restaurant offers dishes such as jeonju bibimbap, doenjang jjigae (soybean paste jjigae), yukgaejang (spicy beef soup), dolpan bulgogi (stone-grilled bulgogi), which are made using Korean ingredients like red chili paste, soybean paste, and soy sauce.

Sky is a guesthouse located in an alley next to the Jeonju Hanok Village Parking Lot. The house was built in 1930 and remodeled in 2014. It was originally a Japanese-style house, but the original building was completely demolished and a traditional Korean house was built in its place. The sheets and blankets in all the guestrooms are embroidered by the owner of the guesthouse. Her embroidery skills make some of the guests choose to stay at this guesthouse since they can learn the trade from her. She offers an embroidery class for such guests for only KRW 4,000 per person, and only 5 people are allowed in the class. If you want, you can also play the traditional Korean game called "yutnori" for free.

Located in Jeonju Hanok Village, Saranggadeuk is a traditional hanok that was renovated from a traditional hanok built in 1900, which retains the elegance of hanok architecture in its toenmaru (narrow wooden porch), rafters, and eaves. The hotel has six guest rooms, including a spacious ondol (underfloor heated) room with an interior finished in cypress wood that emits a subtle scent. Each of the rooms has a bathroom with a shower, and the Cherry and Rose rooms are recommended for couples, while the Azalea rooms are recommended for groups. Breakfast is served with freshly baked toast, seasonal fruits, and coffee in the room, and cooking is not permitted.
