Historic Site of Anti-Mongolian Struggle in Hangpadu-ri is where the Sambyeolcho military unit of the Goryeo dynasty resisted the invasion of Mongolia until the last possible moment. The site houses an exhibition hall, a monument, and a unique mud fortress. Nearby is Jangsumul Spring (Jangsu means general) which flowed from the footprints of General Kim Tong-jeong. Today, water from the spring cannot be used as drinking water.

Sambyeolcho was a military unit of the Goryeo dynasty. When the Goryeo dynasty made peace with the Mongolian forces in February 1270 (the 11th year of King Wonjong), the Sambyeolcho special defense unit opposed it and launched a resistance movement. They moved their base to Jindo in Jeollanam-do, but after suffering a huge defeat, they moved to Jeju-do and built Hangpaduseong Fortress. They continued to fight against the Mongolian forces for two more years there. However, all the members were killed in April 1273 (the 14th year of King Wonjong).

This independent anti-Mongolian movement was born out the deeply patriotic belief in the need to safeguard the nation from foreign invasion. In 1977, the government invested 745 million won to restore part of the fortress and build a monument in commemoration of those who died in the war. The work was completed in June 1978.

Jewon Haneul, spanning 26,046 square meters, has open fields and greenhouse facilities for tangerines. It is certified by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food, and Rural Affairs for non-pesticide farming, Good Agricultural Practices (GAP), and low-carbon practices. The farm grows various citrus fruits throughout the year. Green tangerines are harvested from August to September, field-grown tangerines in October, and Hwanggeumhyang, Redhyang, and Cheonhyehyang varieties from December to February. From the end of April until early May, the farm is adorned with tangerine flowers. It operates various food therapy programs, such as making tangerine marmalade, tangerine cakes, green tangerine syrup, and summer tangerine syrup, depending on the season. In addition, it provides sound therapy programs like singing bowl meditation in the tangerine orchard and making glass wind chimes attached with a wish tag. As such, the farm has become a space for relaxation and rest for those with exhausted minds and bodies.

Hamdeok Beach is located along Jeju Olle Trail Course 19. It is also referred to as Hamdeok Seoubonghaebyeon Beach due to the volcanic cone nearby. Located just 20 kilometers from Jeju International Airport, the beach is famous for its great scenery of emerald-blue waters, tall palm trees, and white sandy shore. The beach is considered one of Jeju's top three beaches. To the western end of the beach, there is a bridge built over the water. Additional amenities include a grassy field perfect for picnics and a coastal walking trail. In particular, many people visit during summer evenings to enjoy the night sea. Seoubong Volcanic Cone is beautiful in spring when it is covered in yellow canola blossoms.
