Hahoe Bukchon House is the largest house in Hahoe, Andong, Gyeongsangbuk-do, and was first built by Joseon civil official Ryu Sa-chun in the reign of King Jeongjo. Guestrooms include the former sarangbang (studies) called Bukchonyugeo, Sarang and Susinwa, as well as attic rooms and kitchens. In the yard is an exquisite 300-year-old pine tree resembling the curve the Nakdong River makes round Hahoe village. The house contains valuable relics, including a 17th century map showing Dokdo and Gando as Korean territory, and a painting of flowers given to Ryu by the king.

The 200-year old Jisan Gotaek (Old House) in Andong, Gyeonsangbuk-do. was the home of Joseon official Jisan Ryu Ji-young, and is a Gyeongsang designated folk treasure. Jeongjae Head House is the head house of Joseon scholar Jeongjae Ryu Chi-myeong, a colleague of the famous Toegye Lee Hwang. The house overlooks Imha Lake in Andong-si, Gyeongsangbuk-do, and is 300 years old. The long endurance of the stone foundations, roof tiles and wooden beams and porch gives the place a solid, calming feel. The house consists of a daemunchae (gate house) jeongchim (square-shaped building), haengnangchae (servants’ quarters), sadang or shrine, and a pavilion called Manujeong which houses a lecture hall but can also be used for lodging. Guests can learn how to brew songhwaju spirit and tarak fermented milk liquor, and listen to gayageum or folk song performances.

Located in Sanun Village, Geumseong-myeon, Uiseong-gun, Gyeongsangbuk-do, Soudang is a traditional hanok and a National Folklore Cultural Heritage situated between Geumseongsan Mountain on its backside and the Changideul Plain stretched on its front side. Soudang consists of anchae (main building), sarangchae (detached building), daemunchae (gate building), and byeolchae (annex) as well as gardens, especially with ponds and small forests, which are renowned for their beauty. There are six guest rooms located in the Sarangbang (study), Anchae, and Byeoldang (annex), and some are equipped with modern bathrooms. At a glance, Byeoldang offers a beautiful garden that is reminiscent of a landscape painting.
