Sunset (Ilmol) Hanok is located in Waon Village in Suncheon, South Jeolla Province. The Sunset Hanok takes the form of a ㄷ-shaped “hanok” with a grass lawn at the center. Stepping into the courtyard brings one to a view of the expansive tideland beyond the tiled clay fence and the mountains surrounding the village. There are three Korean-style floor bedding rooms and a bedroom in the house. Nangman and Haengbok, with traditional “gudeul” floor heating, offer a great view of the scenery and the sunset from the comforts of the rooms. The Sarang and Hwamok rooms use wood-fired heating, which offers great warmth during the winter season. Hwamok, in particular, is spread out between the main building and the “anchae” (inner chamber), combining a bedroom and a wide floor-heated Korean-style room suitable for large groups. All rooms in Sunset Hanok are equipped with a kitchen sink, induction stove, refrigerator, and cooking utensils, and there is also an outdoor barbeque area for guests. These features make the pension highly popular for family travelers.

Jukheon Old House is an old house near Bongjeongsa Temple in Andong, Gyeongsangbuk-do. Originally built in 1886 by independence activist Kim Ga-jin, it was later acquired by Jukheon Lee Hyeon-chan and until recently was used as a family gathering place for jaesa ancestral rites. There are three 2-person guestrooms (Jukheon Gallery Room, Seojae Room and Elizabeth Room) and one four-person room (Jukheon-dong Farm Room). Visitors can explore the old thatched millhouse with its ancient treadmill, or enjoy a walk along Queen Elizabeth Road to Bongjeongsa Temple. A simple complimentary breakfast is provided.

Dojeong Seowon in Yecheon, Gyeongsangbuk-do, was built to honor Yakpo Jeong Tak, who saved the life of the famous Admiral Yi Sunshin back in the 1500s. Now a hanok stay, it has four guest rooms, including Gangdang, once used as a lecture hall by Joseon scholars; a pavilion called Eup-hojeong; and Dongjae and Seojae, which were once dormitories. Gangdang is a private house of about 100 square metres and is suitable for group travelers. Eup-hojeong stands on a bluff overlooking the stream. Dongjae and Seojae have their own bathrooms. Standing on the 2nd floor of the pavilion brings one to the view of the Naeseongcheon Stream flowing in an arc around the mountain.

Yeongjogwan is named after the 21st Joseon king Yeongjo and is in a complex of 11 hanok buildings named for Joseon kings. The hotel is in Wansan-gu, Jeonju, Jeollabuk-do, looking out over Jeonjucheon stream. Yeongjogwan has two first-class rooms, each with a bedroom containing two double beds, a living room, a bathroom with a jacuzzi, and a toilet.
