Located south of the eastern side of Seokchon Lake, this street is home to numerous restaurants and cafes. Its name comes from the combination of Songpa-dong and Gyeongnidan-gil Street in Itaewon, Seoul, meaning the “Gyeongnidan-gil Street of Songpa-dong.” This street began as an otherwise unremarkable street that faced the eastern side of Seokchon Lake. Today’s “Songnidan-gil Street” came to be as cafes moved into the neighborhood, followed by restaurants and photography studios. Songnidan-gil Street is a popular hangout for young Seoulites in the southeastern side of Seoul, so on weekends, one can often find them conversing in cafes, going for drinks in bars, or waiting in line for the hottest restaurants in the neighborhood.

Samcheong Sujaebi is a handmade sujebi (hand-pulled dough soup) specialty restaurant located in Samcheong-dong. Sujebi is a dish made by tearing hand-pulled dough into pieces and boiling it in anchovy broth, among other broths. The signature menu features sujebi with sliced pumpkin, clams, and potatoes, all boiled together and served in a pot. Another specialty is the potato pancake made exclusively from 100% potatoes. Nearby attractions include Bukchon Hanok Village, the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, and Gyeongbokgung Palace.

Soseolwon Seoga is a café located near Daehangno. The name means a small garden with falling snow. It is said that Samcheong-dong was named from the story about the three "cheong" (Chinese character meaning clean) of the area, namely the mountain, water, and people. Another theory is that the origin of the region's name came from Samcheongjeon Hall where three tablets called "Taecheong," "Sangcheong," and "Okcheong," were set up based on Taoism. Daeo Bookstore is the oldest bookstore in Seoul that has been maintained in one place since it opened in 1951. Dongchonjae is a hanok guesthouse in Seochon, Jongno, Seoul. The the Anchae(women's quarters) consists of four sleeping rooms and a cheongmaru lounge space, plus kitchen and toilet. (There are also shared toilets in the yard.) Cooking is not allowed, but guests are welcome to bring in prepared food. A free breakfast is provided. Guests can watch movies in the yard or main hall, and can use the refrigerator and washing machine. A guided night tour of Seoul City Wall is offered, as is a tea ceremony, and rice-cake making experience.
