Opened in 1998, Chojun Textile & Quilt Art Museum is the only textile art museum in Korea. Visiotrs can learn about the excellence and tradition of Korean textiles by observing a wide range of domestic and international textile artworks. In addition to exhibiting its collection, the museum also holds special exhibitions as well as textile and quilt competitions, giving visitors the opportunity to get up close and personal with textile artworks.
Sungnyemun Gate (숭례문)

Sungnyemun Gate is Korea’s National Treasure No. 1, and its unofficial name is Namdaemun Gate. Sungnyemun Gate is the largest castle gate stone structure with an arched entrance in the middle. There’s a column on top of a platform, raising the roof, distinguishing the upper stories and lower stories of the building. Passageways for traffic are located at the east and west ends of the gate. Different from the other gates, Sungnyemun Gate’s tablet has its name written vertically.
On February 10, 2008, Sungnyemun was destroyed by fire. After a 5-year reconstruction work, the gate was re-opened to the public again on May 4, 2013.

Myeondong Jjukkumi is a jjukkumi (ocellerated octopus) restaurant located in Jung-gu, Seoul. It only takes about a 1-minute walk from Hoehyeon Station (Seoul Subway Line 4), Exit 2, a convenient location for both tourists and people who work in the area. Main menu items consist of jjukkumi and samgyeopsal (grilled pork belly), pork galbi (rib meat), bossam (cabbage wraps with pork), among other set menus. Daehakro Arts Theater is a venue for performing arts that is comprised of a main hall and small hall. The main hall fills the first and second floors and has a proscenium stage with seating arranged in fan-shape. In an effort to present a more contemporary theater experience, the seats here are placed closer to the stage than those of a standard theater, allowing the audience to experience performances more vividly.
Inwangsan Mountain (인왕산)

Inwangsan Mountain is a rocky mountain located to the northwestern side of Seoul. It stands 338m tall. The Seoul City Wall is built along its ridge, connecting to the Baegak Mountain Trail. From the summit, one can see the three mountains of Naksan Mountain, Namsan Mountain, and the Bugaksan Mountain surrounding the historical center of Hanyang, the historical name for Seoul in Joseon period, with the Gyeongbokgung Palace at the center. There are five hiking trails, all taking about two hours to complete. It takes about three hours if you want to visit all the peaks of the mountain.
