Originally known as Unamjeong Pavilion, the pavilion was built in 1959 to commemorate Rhee Syngman. It was demolished by the 4.19 movement in 1960 and was rebuilt on November 11, 1968. Jongmyo Shrine was the primary place of worship for kings and their queens throughout the Joseon dynasty. The shrine was built at the same time as Gyeongbokgung Palace, under the orders of King Taejo, the first king of the Joseon dynasty. The shrine is the site of the royal memorial service, called Jongmyo Jaerye, a national event that has been passed down since the Three Kingdoms period. During the Joseon dynasty, the ritual was held on the first month of a seasonal change and the twelfth month of the lunar year.

"Fireman" is a non-verbal performance that portrays the growth and development of silly and carefree trainees into courageous and trustworthy firefighters. The stage will grab the attention of the audience with acrobatic techniques, parkour, and b-boying movements. International audience can enjoy the show without any language barrier as the performance is non-verbal, meaning the play is carried out using only body movements and facial expressions to deliver the story. Since its first stage in 2015, the act went on an international tour and won the Grand Prize in Popular Culture category during the Korea Hallyu Awards in 2016.
